A lot of us have made this mistake. Hopefully, SDS responds. Keep us posted good luck.

Where can you submit a ticket at?
Thank you -
That sucks and hopefully gets fixed but how is this still happening this late into the year?
Are people hammerfisting their controller to open packs? -
I didn't even know I did it until I saw I had 29 of 30 and I was 100%..

Are people hammerfisting their controller to open packs? My guess......Yes, they are.
Because I can think of no logical explanation otherwise.

I just did it by mistake too; first time. It was 2 am and I didn't remember I already opened a TA NL West pack and I took Escobar twice. I submitted a ticket. Hopefully it gets answered because I just need German to get Acuna now.

So in other words you went too fast. The game tells you which cards are new and which ones you already have copies of when you open a pack, at least when you are opening them on the console, so a couple extra seconds on the selection screen is all that it would take.

Yes and no.
If you hit triangle on the pack; it brings up a list of the cards in the pack. Say you already have the first two.
You then think 'all I have to do is skip the first two and pick one if the other three'.
But when you open the pack, the order is mixed. Yes, you can see which ones you have by whether or not you see 'New' or '1x' in the upper left corner.
But depending on what type of display you're using (monitor or tv) sometimes it's hard to see what it states.
At least for me.
What they SHOULD do is set it up that once you pick a card it's either taken out of the pack or it's 'grayed out'.
Or set it up like @go4stros25_PSN stated in another thread: Have each player designated as a point in the path.

No, I didn't go too fast. I cycled through each card and with my blurry eyes, I just saw the green and selected Escobar because I knew he was the one I wanted. I realized after the fact when went to put him on my squad. Again, if I remembered I had opened a pack a week prior, I would've paid more attention.
There are numerous ways for them to remedy this for future instances; like put a red watermark stating "COLLECTED" on it so people won't make that mistake again. It isn't just me, its thousands of others plus countless others who don't use the message boards to vent.

This year is much different than MLB 20. In that game, the cards were larger and I could read the pitchers throwing arm at the game loading screen for instance. This year, it is microscopic on the same TV. They just have overlooked some QOL items in this game (probably because it was rushed) and we're not suffering the consequences.
