I finished it last night:
- Collection
- Moments (Pretty fun and easy)
- CPU Game on Rookie in Colorado with an all Home Run Derby lineup and Shohei / deGrom pitching
- CPU Game on Rookie in Colorado with an all All Star lineup and Shohei / deGrom pitching
Yea pretty similar for me.
Had a mix of HRD/All star guys on my first cpu game. After that wrote down what was left on each mission. Started a game with HRD guys, finished the missions by the 3rd inning or so, quit out and did the same for All Star and was done by around the 3rd inning again as well. Only moment that was a slight annoyance was JT Realmuto homering off Ohtani but still probably took me under 10 min for it.

Easy and worth it. Finished the moments and missions on about an hour. Just play a game on rookie vs the CPU.
Pulled a Vlad and Alonso, decided to go ahead and get Ohtani. Lucky!

If you didn’t buy HRD packs like me, the grind will be long with only one card that they give you early in the program

You can have 3 without buying anything (Possibly 4) - Joc Pederson henchman card from earlier, Sandberg who is reward for collecting 15 AS cards, Fielder for collecting all 30 and whoever you get in the free rewards path in the Acuna program at 30 points.

If you want to spend no money, the HR Derby stats are the hardest right now, because you do need to buy them.. on my secondary account, I bought the 4 cheaper ones (still 18k each right now), put all 4 at the top of the lineup, and just played away at coors field for a half inning at a time (quitting and restarting) until I got the stats I needed, then I sold them for a small profit. If you do it that way, Acuna is totally free with just grinding the Free AS Cards and moments
Uhh...you need some of them for the Ohtani collection though?

Yeah, seems like it could take a while if you didn't spend stubs on HRD and All Star packs. I currently don't have any at all.

I want that Pete Alonso HRD card SO BAD, but I cannot bring myself to spend that much on a 1B when I already have Ortiz and Prince Fielder at 99.

Nope, but it's the ADD tendencies we have to get every card. That 99 Vlad jumped to 200k!!! Ugh, that's not going to be fun trying to get. I'll wait until they release a ton of AS packs in the next couple of conquests.

Why not just quit the game and start over? You don't get any reward for a game against the CPU on Rookie except maybe a common or bronze card.
It's funny you say that...I agree, BUT...the only Trout I've pulled this year was a reward from a rookie CPU grind game.
Did you buy a lottery ticket that day? I have been playing DD pretty heavy since 2017. I have won Trout more in BR than I have pulled him. 1-0. Pulling Trout doesn't ever enter my mind.
After pulling 1 diamond in the first half of the TA's, the second half was full of them. No real good ones but like 8 between 5-9k yesterday. Also after not pulling any rare rounds, pulled both Alonso and Vladdy. Felt like the twilight zone for me.

You are. I had no intention of getting Alonso, Vladdy and Ohtani but pulled Alonso and Vladdy yesterday so will probably fork out the stubs for Ohtani just for the heck of it.

ryne sandberg and fielder both count from collecting the affinitys

It’s not bad if you have most of TA3 completed, and hopefully you have some HRD cards to use in your mission stat grind
