Kimbrel

Why is it, they give every pitcher and their mom pitches that aren't in their reprotoire, but they will never give Kimbrel a 4th pitch??
-
The only reason they give him a 2 seam is because the minimum number of pitches a guy can have is 3. He only throws 2 pitches

yeah he has thrown a slider and a changeup in his career so i don't know why they don't give him at least one of those. I mean rivera got a sinker and may have thrown 5 times his whole career. They also game scwarbs 97 contact vs lefties even tho he hit .220 against them but will give better players 80 contact with a .250 avg. It makes no sense.

This isn't true for his career. He threw a slider with atlanta and even dabbled with a change. No reason his sig cards couldn't have those pitches. Also edward cabrera throws a two seamer but yet they changed it to a sinker on his card.. Dozens of pitchers are done the same way.

Well he doesn't have any Sig cards yet.....
Just because he has a different card doesn't make it a SS type card. Mo has a sinker because his milestone card is about his entire career.

Dude his 42 card had a sinker and kimbrel got a sig card last year and still only had the 3 same pitches. My point is they choose when to make that a thing. Again edward cabrera doesn't throw a sinker. He throws a 2 seamer. Schwarbs hasn't caught in years but yet everyone of his cards has the secondary of him being a catcher. SDS chooses when to change such things.

Dan Plesac threw a change up and doesn’t have one, which would make his card a little more viable.

You keep trying to compare random card categories like its a valid way to make your point. POTM cards are always juiced, especially the lightning card.
I get the complaint about giving FS cards pitches they dont use so I assume thats to make them more appealing.
I don't know if Kimbrel actually got a Sig but he got a ROY card (which is not the same as a sig) which has a slider so...no its not the same 3 pitches.

I didnt follow Plesac that much so not sure about him. Maybe its possible its something he developed later in his career? Plenty of pitchers have to re-invent themselves to stay competitive.
Hes got a Prime and a rookie card so its I guess possible he didnt throw it until later.

They do make my point. You just don't want to see it. Them juicing the lightning card has nothing to do with what positions he plays which was my point. Ok kimbrel's sig card was in 19 and didn't have the slider. Again my whole point was they choose when to add the pitches. They choose when to take secondaries away. Again his rookie of the year card gets the slider but his sig card did not.
