I hate to complain because I really enjoy this game

Had that happen offline every pitch when Tatis was hitting. Others have seen that as well. Does is lag after every pitch or for select batters?

So for me it would lag for like 2 batters be okay for 1-2 then go back. I have not payed close enough attention to see if it is always the same players the lag happens on, I will run some games and see if I can figure that out.

Add Jose Ramirez to a list of batters that it does it too. And I thought it was just me using the TA3 card. Then I played the Indians and it happened both while he was hitting for me and the cpu. Weirdest thing.

But recently I have been having a big issue with the game lagging as the pitcher is finishing his animation and releasing the ball. It makes it impossible to time a good swing. Also I play strictly offline so internet should not be an issue. Has anyone experiences this, could it just be a glitch that came up with the last update that they are looking to fix?
Swing timing is the worst thing about the game. I really do think that the engine sometimes doesn't know what difficulty it's on. I think also think pitch speeds can vary because of this. Lag also happens because of quick pitching too.

Was playing the Orioles last night doing Team Affinity and Matt Harvey's delivery was hiccuping right after it left his hand. It would dip, then hiccup and appear above the previous point. Made it just about impossible to time.

i was having this issue last night. i restarted my console and it seemed to fix it.. probably isnt what your experiencing but worth a shot

Yes, First pitch of the game or inning.
Most of the time the first pitch of a Moment.Even happens on a PS5. It's like the game is still trying to catch up with the initial game state load.

That is what I have been doing farming the orioles for team affinity missions and he will stutter as hes doing the animation and then the ball shoots out slows down and then just changes location.
