Should I lock in for Ohtani?

Yeah the mixed reviews have me worried for sure. Don’t get me wrong I want Ohtani. But I could also Parallel up the 95 and he’d probably get the job done most of the time and that card is dirt cheap. Can also play it every game.
Yea that makes the most sense honestly

To be honest I don’t really have any desire to do this set and I have 1.4 million with about 200 K in auction-able cards and am about to make WS….so another 300 K probably.
I don’t really want Prince or Ryne and I don’t want to keep trotting Ohtani out onto the mound when there are better pitchers out there only because I locked him.

If you have the stubbs to blow why not, he really is fun to use and your not going to get another card like him. Plus you know hes going to be needed for the big set which has not disappointed yet.
At this point I’m not even worried about the “big set”. I mean who could it possibly be? Knowing SDS they’ll continue the trend of juiced 1B and make it Babe Ruth.

Whatever you do, don’t listen to people that can’t pitch without outlier lol.

Prince and ryne are free with TA3 anyway. Ohtani best quality might be carrying an extra bench bat if you can get away with 4 starters. Plus maybe using in relief after the ph.

Hes going to probably be required for a voucher in the upcoming collection(s).

I bought all the HRD and cheap All Star game cards in hope they will go up when the pack leaves the store. I’m reluctant to lock the set in, because it’s so expensive.
I also feel like when you get cards at this level it becomes less about how good the card is and more about how the user is.

Im having that same reluctance.

I did and I'm enjoying him. Need something to burn stubs on, so why not. Also Prince Fielder is really good, his swing is great.
This is exactly how I feel too. I might not stick around until the end of this year's game cycle, so I wanted to use my stubs on this card I desperately wanted.

Yea kinda in the same boat I have all the cards already plus another million in stubs an a binder full of investments for hopefully a big collection at the end of the month. Knowing there's going to be a better finest Ohtani later on doesn't really make sense to lock in this many stubs for somebody who isn't even a top 5 starting pitcher at the moment. but I'll probably do it just to do it
