Will there be a delay on the big collection reward card?

The big collection card (Trout, Wagner, etc..) has been the last week in July the last few years. With this big All Star series dropping with Ohtani and Fielder as rewards for collecting it I can’t see them dropping another big collection reward in two weeks, especially with the price of every card totally tanked right now and as a result it would be very cheap to get any needed cards. Can’t see SDS making it that easy.

There's multiple parts and part 1 already dropped a month ago. We might not see the final collection reward until September or later

Haven’t been paying attention much bc I just hopped on for the first time in 2 weeks yesterday but I’ve seen multiple ppl say there’s a collection coming on 7-15 (tomorrow) idk if it’s speculation or not.

Yea in the past there were not multiple collection rewards but when the Rivera one dropped this year they made it clear that was not the big one and it would be coming in the summer like usual.

I don't think they ever said it was going to be in the summer or not. Just that there would be more than 1

Yeah maybe I picked up the timing part elsewhere. I do distinctly remember them saying it was not the big one.

not that easy. a lot of people probably sold some of their cards off to get this shohei card. if its similar to Mariano collection and the all-stars, veterans, rookie, prime, etc. all get expanded, they will shoot back up in price depending on how many are required.

Last year they announced the Trout collection on the schedule at least a week in advance. No reason they wouldn’t do the same this year so don’t think it’s imminent. Still betting on end of the month.

While better, this Ohtani collection is just a bigger version of the Griffey HRD collection last year so don’t think it has any impact on timing for bigger collection. Ohtani will be a voucher.
