I really don't get why everyone has lost their minds over the the shohei card. Is it a great card? of course. But it's a card in which will get 2 maybe 3 ab's every 5 games. It also very dependent on your opponent not quitting out and ruining the stamina of the card. Would it be a great card if you could actually use it every day? of course.

    How to fix it.
Give us two of the cards and make the pitching one get energy while the same exact one is playing the field. It could take 7 or 8 games to get full energy. When you use the sp one then the other is obviously not on the field. It would give people options and you could use the card how it should be used. Just thinking out loud.

They should have him be the only SP that has OF secondary so we can use him more.

Not a bad idea. If you don't use him in the field he gains more energy per game than if you do play him. I think you're onto something here

I'd rather wait. Instead I spent 300k stubs on buying alot of rookie, veteran, 2nd half, award, ect... cards. I'm just gonna stock up for the next collection. No way is 600k worth it for a pitcher who can hit good.

Why would you need 2 cards if they make his card work correctly? He should be a SP/OF card with a stamina bar that effects only his pitching. You should be able to select in pre game menu whether to put him in the lineup, or start him on the mound.

There is no such thing as "too many end game pitchers". The more end game pitchers means more variety which is a good thing. Same with all the juiced up high diamond releases everyone wants to complain about. Variety is good. I dont think anyone really wants to go back to having the same lineups face each other every game.

The card is good. Don't get me wrong but they juiced the hitting on this card(not his outfield card) which is what makes the community love him. SDS promoted the two way player as a thing this year buy hasn't actually delivered on that as an option in the game. You can't even use cards that have rp as secondaries without glitching it.

I don't get why we didn't get two versions of this card to be able to use it the way we wanted.

That's funny. You aren't going to get any variety. After a week everyone is going to be fielding the same meta lineup.

At least the option for variety is there. Using "meta" cards is on the individual players. Just like you could have chosen to not abuse contact swing, bunt cheese or any other avoidable issue...you can opt to not just use meta players.

only at the higher levels. The closer you get to legend is when diversity in lineups cease to exist.

Stubs are so easy to come by, buying the cards required for him is such a small drop in the bucket.

This. 2018 immortal line-ups were a snooze fest. I enjoy seeing the different line-ups and pitchers.

Agreed on the hype. As in real baseball, better hitter than pitcher. As in The Show, 4SFB gonna get rocked.

    This. Yes. Very much this.

SDS dropped the ball on not allowing this Shohei card to play 2-way.
