Does anyone else think online pitch speeds are way to fast? You can put your pci high and in and say "I know he's throwing a fastball and if he doesn't oh well I'm striking out" but still, as soon as he throws it and your brain recognizes fastball, it's past you.

I think there may be bandwidth issues that are making these fastballs seem faster than they appear.

Idk man I have really good interent, and if that's the case then something needs to be done. You can't expect everyone to either have top of the line internet or just lose to people that do

Last year I went to wired internet on a monitor for online play and the game felt like it was in slow motion compared to hdtv on wifi.

Idk man I have really good interent, and if that's the case then something needs to be done. You can't expect everyone to either have top of the line internet or just lose to people that do
I have good internet as well, but there are times where I can't keep up with the fastball and seem to get a post animation flash delay. It doesn't happen all the time, but is noticeable in some games.

I'm hardwired with a 4k TV. I've been thinking king about buying a monitor but I read that the game is only capable of 60hz so I figured what's the point.

I went from 75” Samsung 4K TV to 20” 5 yr old monitor. It was worth it, but I had it sitting in a spare room. I couldn’t catch up to a BGibson fastball to save my life. Got the Kontrol Freak controller tips, tried game mode on Samsung, then wired connection, then the monitor - monitor was the biggest jump.

For the response time
i mean you’re not wrong but good 4k 60hz tvs are hitting good response times still. maybe not 1ms but around 10-20ms which isn’t much difference when considering it’s milliseconds lol i’ve played on both it’s the same thing really but yeah if u need that extra .9 ms more power to you my monitor friends

I definitely wish pitches were slower. Or timing windows were more forgiving or something.
