you cant change something without it affecting something else, see this every year. tweak this and it tweaks something else up. sds like to provide a variety of how the game plays throughout the year, nothing is ever consistent.
on the flip side theres a part of me that thinks as the season goes by cards become unusable as higher tier numbered cards come out, so in theory hitting will change to a certain point because 81 gold so and so should not hit like a 96 so and so, or they shouldnt i dont think.
but the hitting mechanics of the game are just a problem in general. -

Exit velocity has been nerfed across the board. -
It's the timing windows. It differs from game to game. The results are also to heavily weighted on pitchers confidence.

It said that if you use contact swing with power hitters their exit velo is reduced a lot, I don’t think there’s a change if a guy who’s attributes heavily favor contact. I think guys like Tony G still profit from using contact swing.

This happens with all swing types, that’s not a contact swing issue only

They nerfed pitching and hitting and the game is so much better now. No longer just a HR derby, but now plays like baseball.
I did notice a few balls I thought were home runs and had been home runs went off the wall for doubles….I’m okay with that.

They need to make about 75 percent of the foul balls outside of the zone go fair for weak putouts….people would think twice about contact swinging at everything.

what do you think contact swings were supposed to do? btw contact swings was never really broken. It was used more because pinpoint was so strong so it seemed stronger than it really was if you tested it.

All exit velos are down, pretty obvious vs CPU on Rookie, I hit a PP power swing, center cut, change up, with a guy with 125 power, against a 65 pitcher, and it was "carrying" caught on the track, before patch that was a no doubter 450 feet. I seems like half the PP's are outs now.
