Swing timing getting recalculated after contact?

I've seen this multiple times, hit timing looks good at contact but then after contact it come back with the timing pushed out 10%, what gives?

Yea I think something is wonky because that exact same thing just happened to me. I had perfect contact with the timing being just early not even touching the yellow, and it went just foul out the park. Then on the feedback during the next pitch, it showed my timing to be in the yellow.

It's input delay, or lag. Happens to me some games, but not others.
