Chipper still worth getting?

Is Chipper still worth getting or do you think the Team Affinity 3 will have a comparable 3rd baseman?

Chipper is by far my worst hitter this year. Not sure what it is but I cannot hit with him. Even alfonso Soriano has come on as of late. Ortiz has been a beast for me though. My best lefty pitcher hitter

Swing alone, the 94 chipper last year competed with some 99’s. His MVP card this year will probably be a top 3 third basemen for the rest of the year so I’d say he’s worth it personally

I just can't hit with his swing. Also being a switch hitter kinda hurts me because I suck oppo hand against cutters and sliders

I think it's personal preference, to me Chipper is always my best hitter every year. So to me he's most definitely worth it, especially given the fact that this Chipper is the best Chipper we've ever seen and probably will ever see.

He will be my third baseman all year. Unless sig series eddie matthews doesn’t have a 1b secondary. Love his swing too much.

To me it is because I it means I finished the LS collection and that means something to me.
I finished it tonight after many hours of flipping and investing cards.
I'll never make WS or do anything significant but it's fun to collect these cards and play. -
I completed chipper this morning and he freaking rakes, you parallel him and his defense become gold, so worth it tho it is expensive. I watch a video from YourFriendKyle and he did affinity day one and it cost roughly $3,000 for him to complete from scratch. I waited till today to go threw with it and it cost me every bit of $700+ I had to buy Trout, Acuna, Cole, Belli, and Mookie. Pretty much every expensive Diamond except deGrom and Tatis. That’s just the high expensive. A lot of money to spend but I play a lot so to me it’s worth it and I have a Job. Definitely don’t recommend unless u have a job

He just hits homeruns. I close my eyes (well no) and the pci is way off and he still just hits homeruns.

100+ Hitting stats both sides, gold defense when paralleled...oh and he’s a SH....if he isn’t on ur starting 9 he’s 100% on ur bench.

All I can say is keep trying I was hitting .150 with him to start this morning but rn as it stands he’s hitting .317 my sample size is small tho so if you’ve had him for a while and ur just not hitting then it’s probably a comfortability thing.

Be patient with completing collections!! Live series always get cheaper as year goes on!! Having 90 plus at 650 will drop the big live series diamonds. Plus TA3 players will drop market. TA3 Jose ramirez should be pretty close to chipper! Plus Nicolas castenllanos also can play 3rd.

Wondering -- lots of talk about swings, but I heard someone say on YT that all swings are 4 frames in length. Nevertheless, I still suck HARD with Soriano...hahah

YFK and all the other streamers spend money like that because they get it back in a week with their subs. I'm NMS and got Chipper like 1.5 months back. I got him to P4 so far. Don't spend money on stubs. Totally not worth it when you can get every card in this game for free with time.
