The Team Affinity Season 3 Thread

Bring him on. He will be easier to hit than Edward Cabrera I'll tell you that right now
-
they had to give it to him but this shows that the cards will be 97-99 because no way he is below 99
-
20 stubs they add a sinker or a cutter

Hes the Mets only All Star oddly until last night when Walker was named... they had no choice to pick him

Yeah. McNeil and Alonso (who has finally woke up a bit) have stunk this year, and Conforto maddens you with the inconsistencies, so only 1 all star, sadly.
-
Yes Alonso has been solid overall minus the power he finally found.... McNeil has been horrendous and Conforto one of the worst players in MLB since he came back from IL 16 games ago hitting .111

A case could have been made for Stroman and Diaz with deGrom/Walker I think

When does season 3 drop? I love this addition to the game as I've always preferred player missions over "moments". I've been ending up bored with previous years of the game around 5th or 6th Inning because it's been all about Moments and crushing Conquest with the same god-squad diamonds over and over. I love inserting slightly suckier players now and then, and having reasons to play vrs. CPU.

The new cards drop Monday.

Also no Vladdy which I wasn't shocked with.
Being a fan of the Blue Jays(mainly because only Canadian team) I will be glad to take this card regardless.

Man, normally I'd be stoked to get a high-90s J.T. Realmuto this early in the life-cycle of the game but I was really hoping for a Zack Wheeler as I love his POTM card and a high-90s version could have been an end-game starting pitcher or at least close to it. It's cool we're getting Josh Hader though. I can say with certainty that Hader and Gregory Soto will be two cards I will use quite a bit.
As for my White Sox, I was expecting to get Lance Lynn -- which would've been cool -- but I'll gladly take Carlos Rodon. Hopefully they do his pitch speeds some justice because he's been throwing a lot harder than his Live Series card would suggest. I don't think anyone would've been mad at a high-90s Liam Hendriks either. Out of all the TA3 cards, my biggest surprise is the fact that they're giving us a free Jacob deGrom. I know he was the Mets only All-Star but I was nearly certain they were going to go with his replacement, Taijuan Walker. Regardless, it's nothing but a good thing for the game.
Overall, there are so many cards I'm looking forward to trying out. I'm hoping for a Trea Turner, Jose Ramirez, Aroldis Chapman, and whoever gets the card for the Cardinals -- whether that it is Alex Reyes or Nolan Arenado.

Trying to update the lists and post the cards updated for y'all so you know which are coming. First day on the forum but been a part of different sports game forums before.Would like to become a member on here that contributes to the site and talk to y'all more and find out stuff and just discuss things. Since I'm new to the franchise that is MLB The Show I hope that you all can help me along the way as I learn the ins and outs of the game and learn the game more thoroughly. Still I'm trying to understand stuff as well for myself and doing a decent job of the hitting. The pitching needs work and my fielding and building my team.
