It doesn’t surprise me. SDS frequently makes extreme decisions based off of complaints.
Last 2 years: “why are my pitches hanging with good input”
This year: makes good input way to OP and easy to achieve.Another example: “enough with the stat grinds for immortals!”
Next year: has zero stat grinds basically making playing anything outside of online play pointless.They seem to have found a happy medium with stat grinds this year. It’s always just an extreme one way or the other the first year they change or implement something.
To be fair, the complaints on hanging pitches were pretty valid and it couldn't continue on like that.
Not saying they weren’t. I’m saying it takes them a bit to find a balance.

I’m guessing SDS nerfed the hitting, neither me of my opponents are hitting anything. No way common pitchers are shutting down these line ups that are being rolled out especially in Coors

I'm a .244 hitter in ranked season (Just to show I'm average at best in terms of hitting).
Last 4 ranked games 9 innings, scored 14 runs, I stopped it there because the 5th game would skew it even more, 12 innings with 25 runs scored.
What purpose would they have to make people frustrated by nerfing hitting in an event created for hitting?

Sorry guys but I'm hitting nuke after nuke and paralleling players at a rapid pace. Pinpoint pitching is not that overpowered pitching has improved tenfold from last year. Stop Circle swinging

13-12 3 inn games? Wow. Every year though this is a complaint from someone, that there arent enough runs being scored in the Moonshot event. I played one game and scored 7, which is equal to 21 in a full game. So I think that was plenty.

Doesn't really help when they set the time of year in like April... I have heard the announcers constantly state that it is in the 40s. Lol

They pretty much say that all year. Been a pet peeve of mine for years. They think Denver is in Alaska.

Yeah it’s common pitchers but it isn’t the past two years where pitching wasn’t very good. Now that we can pitch people complain. If the game was easy we wouldn’t have anything higher then allstar
