Preview Packs

By The Show 2023..likely next year..it will be a thing here as well. It's a great thing for FIFA. People spend BIG bucks on packs. The Show..it's not really got the same impact. But, SDS will likely adopt it all the same.

I think he means what you get though, for example if I went to buy a standard pack in the show, I would see that particular pack would give me 2 commons, a bronze and a silver for example

I'm saying, so it's clear..FIFA preview packs let you see the player cards (not just type). If Renaldo is in there, you'll see that and likely jump right on it. Likely it's not and you'll have still have some tough decisions to make.

It won't kill pack purchasing. It "might" slow it down a tiny bit, but FUTheads are still going to spend crazy money on packs.
EA had to do something..loot packs are outright gambling. They were either going to address it on a very large scale, or the Feds were going to shut them down. Couple countries had already outlawed FUT pack sells.
Can't have the kiddies gambling away all mummy and daddy's hard earned money. Not to mention, they've created a generation of compulsive gambler's.

But isnt the difference that with SDS stubs can be purchased to buy players AND packs, whereas EA model you purchase points that will only allow you to buy packs?

I'm assuming there's a time limit on the pack and then it resets. Surely you can't just sit there and say "Nope, don't want this one" and discard till you get a pack you want to buy?

Its 24 hours before it resets for another pack if you choose not to buy it on FIFA. If you buy the pack, you can then preview the next one though.

Dont compare SDS with EA in this way yet please.
EA dont give you the option to buy one currency - such as stubs - where you can buy the players you want OR packs.
EA is full on gambling, nothing else.

I dont see this coming to the Show myself. As others have stated the model here is different from what EA has so they were forced to do something like this where in The Show players set the market and can just buy the direct players they need easier.

We'll see. Wasn't it also said that Xbox would never come to The Show? Never say never, otherwise ppl will remind you of that when it happens. Ha.

I didn't say never, I just said I don't see it coming to the show. I've been wrong many times before so I wouldn't be surprised if we saw it, I just don't think it's that likely -
