Had a dude hit foul ball homerun. It was quite the sight. Then just figured RNG got me and moved on to the next loss. LOL

Never played an event before.
Played 2 games. Both against WS players.
Won the first 2-0. The other player started spamming R2 so I just kept stepping off. Is it that toxic that high up?
Second game another WS player and 12-0 player. Lost 2-0.
Am I going to keep facing players who are over 800/900 in ranked?
Doesn’t seem fun to me, that.

I mean that’s a pretty small sample size. You’ll play a wide range of players. Also, typically the people who spam R2 and bunt dance can’t hit to save their lives so they do that desperate stuff to try and get you frustrated/make a mistake. I’d say the a very small percentage of the higher rank players would be doing that stuff.
I grinded out 12 wins last night and had plenty of average to below average players I faced as well as a few legit players.

Thanks. I may give it another go later then. Thing is I’m not really a fan of 3 inning games but am a fan of rewards!

It’s a perfect way to give bad players a crutch. Can’t catch up to a fastball? Home run! Swing 5 minutes early on off speed? Home run! Meanwhile, I’m hitting 480’ outs on perfect/perfects.

What does bunt dancing actually do? I am mostly a offline mode guy, and don't use pinpoint. Had a few people do it in some of my online games and did not see what advantage they were gaining.

I use pulse and it blocks my view if I’m aiming high and in.

There is no advantage. They're just idiots who think they can get in the head of their opponent and screw up the timing of the release on the pitch. More often than not they can't hit for [censored] because they're so focused on trying to mess up their opponent.

Its just adding movement to the screen in hopes to distract you from your meter/pinpoint input, etc hoping you botch the pitch. I'm pretty sure the bunt dancer swings and misses or hits a weak out 99% of the time after bunt dancing (because they just suck in general).

Just had a ball hit to deep right center, ball bounced, landed on the bullpen roof, and roll around until Kelbert Ruiz was rounding 3rd base for an in the park HR. Gotta love the fact it wasn't the typical ground rule double, but was absolutely unplayable for 3+ seconds
