They fooked the casual player with the Xp nerf. I play alot, mostly just RS 300+ games, and i just hit 350k just recently. No way in hell i will finish this inning. Thats fine, but think of those that don't play much have jobs families etc? Lucky to hit 350k, at least me anyways. Im retired so i got alot of time on my hands

Yeah i agree. I dont really like doing the moments or the player grind. I prefer just playing RS and getting my XP that way.

Its kind of funny, as a 90% RS player - surely i am more appealing to SDS as i am unlikely to be grinding other stuff for free cards - meaning im more likely to $$$$ it up. but nope. just slap me in the face.

I believe they did too. In the 2nd inning program, I beat the Cubs on AS when I was grinding for Sutter and I was awarded 15k XP. I beat the Cubs like 21-0 or something. And no, there wasn't a double XP when I did that.

I was about 10k away from hitting 650k this inning and I played another AS game against the CPU, won 22-1 and I got like, 5k XP? I then played a game on Rookie and won 20 to something again and I got 6k XP. Doesn't make sense at all!

They definitely changed it. I seem get get about half as much....and i am winning more games. At about 200 RS games played and its obvious.

If the final score was like 40-0, then thats why.

The point is they didn't reduce the XP like so many people were saying they had cut the XP in half! SDS obviously didn't cut it in half.

    They have.

Ive played probably 300 RS games this year and i can assure you i get half what i got previously.

For example striking out the side a couple weeks ago in one half inning would net you around 450-480 XP

    Now you get 220-240

    They've 100% nerfed it.

I do believe it was only reduce for all star and above not rookie or veteran.

The ideal way to do it would be to have an XP softcap, where the nerf happens AFTER said cap is reached(Let's use 10,000XP as an example)
-Player gets normal XP allocation until they reach 10,000 in a day(Refreshed noon EST with Daily moments)
-If they go over, XP gets cut in half/third/quarter/whatever
So the average player who doesn't spend 18 hours a day playing can still get their expected XP, but super users can't just fly to 650k. This would also mean patching the DD exploit, but that's a whole nother bucket of gum for Kike Hernandez to stand on

doesnt really matter if they did or didnt they put out so much content that even casual players should be able to finish innings.

Not sure if this is related, but I just beat Colorado in a game to steal 2 million fans on the USA conquest map (15-0, thanks high altitude!) and it told me I gained no xp rewards?? I'm confused??

Ive been getting about 10 - 12k vs CPU on All-Star (9 innings) since launch. I only play on All-Star offline.

    Is that good or bad?

I did finish the 650k for the 3rd inning in a week because I was SuperFractoring a couple rewards pitchers playing vs CPU on All-Star.

I say NO! I just got 8114 XP for a single vs CPU game on Rookie! On Rookie! They didn't reduce XP!

Happy for your experience, and you are wrong. XP was nerfed...I am getting 2k XP at most post games v the CPU and I put up about 11+ runs and 12+ Ks. Not stating numbers to brag, just stating them so you can see how nerfed XP is.
