What camera do you use for hitting
-
Which camera, which pci and color you use? Are you having trouble hitting or you found your pci and camera angle that works for you?
-
I use a modified version of the fish eye. So I see all the fielders, and I keep it almost centered on all planes. I have a very minor tilt upward that points towards the sky. But I use directional because I’ve played directional since MVP baseball 2004 and I never was interested in moving an analog to place the bat before swinging when they introduced it. I’ve tried it the last couple years and I don’t like it.

Nokia and Canon

I wonder if fisheye on an 85 inch tv would be nice?

I’ve been using strike zone high with a black pci. Seems less distracting than the other colors to me. Color I guess is just personal preference.
My biggest gripe with the game is that in the competitive modes, some form of strike zone camera is “necessary” to hit effectively. I know there’s people that play really well using third person camera views but I’ve never been able to accomplish consistently good swings using them. The game looks so much better with a 3rd person camera, IMO. Wish SDS would figure out a way to make them better for online play.

Strike zone 2 for fireballers, offset zoom for the slower throwers.
No pci for either camera, it's distracting -
Strike zone 3, although I've upgraded to an ultra short throw projector on a 120 inch screen and it took me like a week to get the timing down for hitting again, and any closer view feels like there's too much movement over too much space.

used strike zone with yellow diamonds on 50%
-
I wish you could change the camera while seeing the game instead of how it is (pause, un-pause, nope! Pause, un-pause). Really tedious; it used to be that way
-
I use strike zone 2 with black pci starfighter. No dots or diamonds inside and fading outer pci

You can use zoom and offset zoom online and do well. Fish eye works too, but it’s a little too zoomed out.
