Edward Cabrera has ruined the game
-
He ruined the game for me by getting absolutely destroyed every time he took the mound
-
OMG "The Broken Pitcher"
The grownass men on this forum using these little whiney gamer Buzzwords is F'n laughable... -
If y’all can’t hit him, just say so.
-
I don't have issues with Cabrera, crochet destroys me every time.

He is tough to hit that is for sure me personally I am just frustrated with the game I will never be a good player and it just makes me rage constantly never getting hits while people I face just torch me to me the game is just too hard for casual players hats off to people who are good at this game I admire you
So why don't you use the amazing Practice mode?
Put all or most of the pitchers you have problems with on one team, save the rosters and load them every time to get better against them.
I'm an offline player and I do this.
You can practice on higher levels. You can even do batting only where you can face any pitch that gives you fits.
Don't give up.
I don't play online because I drop my PCI too much.
I leave SO many runs on the table. It's a joke, so for now, no RS for me. -

Title says it all.
Broken [censored] pitcher.
I played college baseball...... a Sinker barely has any sink at 100 Mph just saying.
Yes, but how many college ball players did you face that consistently threw 100 MPH sinkers?
-
Yeah some pitchers with nasty sinker movement make it very hard to hit inside
-
[censored] what do people want ? - 4 seamers in the middle of the plate I guess ...waa waa

Well MLB The Show is the major leagues big boy.
-
Yes, people can throw 100mph sinkers…no, you can’t throw a 100mph sinker at the top of the zone that acts like it does in the game.
-
SDS doesn't have anybody there competent enough to code the sinker to be flat when thrown high. They're just the bottom of the pool reject coders.
-
I honestly don’t think Cabrera is that broken. Lots of people who have been facing him on HOF or Legend know that it is all about how people use his pitches.
One game you can mash him and then the next you can’t. It’s just the reality of this gameplay we have with this game right now.
Gotta just wait for your pitch off Cabrera and have a game plan. If your game plan gets skewed by your opponents pitch selection/execution, that’s where Cabrera is dominant. To the core of the card though, he shouldn’t be classified as broken by any means.

I just want the sinker to come out of the hand like a fastball and not an off-speed pitch.

I agree.
But we forget sometimes that it's a video game.
I played at the same level as you-- D3 school.
My main pitch was a 2-seamer, which can act as a sinker.
I don't think high velocity affects break, but I do know that sinkers don't break as hard, fast, and with as much bite as some of the sinkers in this game.
The sinker used to be a throw away pitch in this game, and mostly used by specialist relievers-- O'Day, Neshak, Romo, etc.
I think they combined the lateral movement and speed of a 2-seamer, gave it extra drop, and call it a "sinker".
Nobody throws 95+ sinkers consistently.
They get confused for 2-seamers all the time.
That's just the opinion of a "never was" with a sore shoulder... -
