Again, you guys have to stop looking at it through the lense of the minority that are in world series and play on HoF.

I understand the frustration, but for most players these cards let them play with their favorite players and are 100% usable on all star or vs. CPU.

It would be fine if Stanton was not a flawless reward. Flawless rewards are suppose to be god squad level not just usable on all star.

I have to admit having Harvey start a game with me in the Mets black uniform is going to be pretty sweet. And I’m not even a Mets fan.

he was the "Dark Knight" but the Mets haven't worn black since long before Harvey. They should have. Feel like every game he started was the blue uniform with silver letters and numbers

I get that - I guess my point was we can actually make it happen now.

Harvey has to be one of the more hyped overrated players that I can remember. He had 2 decent seasons and that's it. I guess I will never see the fascination others have with him.

"Siri, what happens when a player has early success in the New York market?"

    See:

    Kevin Maas
    Greg Jefferies
    Bill Pulshipher
    Joba Chamberlain
Derek Jeter (YEAH, I SAID IT!)

As a Mets fan, he was a must watch. He came from no where and just went after hitters. It felt like he could throw a no hitter at any point. He took many into the 5/6/7th, consecutively. He even had a game where he went 9, and only allowed 1 baserunner on an infield hit that could’ve been an out.

    He also dated supermodels

He was the Jeremy Lin of MLB.

Babe Ruth in one season as a pitcher (1916), had a higher WAR (8.8) than Harvey has for his entire career (8.2).

I know , I know, they can’t all be winners but not sure a single card today that will crack a top lineup.

That wander 99 card will crack mine not sure about you.

No I don’t like this card at all. Been trying to hit a homerun on rookie for 10 minutes lol. Not sure I’ll bench story or chipper for him.

    He has 2nd base eligibility

It's very clear you never actually watched Harvey pitch before his injuries. His rookie year and following year before getting injured he was amazing. Even when he didn't have it on a certain day he was still able to push through and limit the other team.

Paxton might be good but I was not a fan of him last year and I felt like he was very hittable. But he's worth a shot.

Stanton with 64 contact is a no bueno, dawg.

I’m not disagreeing with the end result of his career. I’m just trying answer the question.

also, those stats are always going to be skewed, since pitchers literally always pitched a CG
