I bet the Perfect liners are still pretty good. At least online anyway. If they include all game modes showdown skews these numbers in a bad way. Perfect grounders will probably have a bad average though

I've seen players make jumping and diving cathes in Showdown I have never seen anywhere else in this game or series

I would really like for me and my opponent to have a say in our game. Why are online games dictated by real mlb averages anyway?

Because the game represents the mlb and the players that play. If you want it to be completely about you, go play baseball outside.

It’s this attitude that ruins the game every year. If you want a sim go play out of the park, we want a game where user input matters.

Last night specifically I was struggling to hit. Even perfect/perfect fly balls were just getting caught on the track.

Anyone know if wind is in effect this year? Seems to be making a big difference but could just be coincidence too.

Agreed. 19 was a line out show and the introduction of perfect perfect and the averages displayed on stream from the beta was the big reason I got excited for 20. After the patch this feels a lot more like 19

Is anyone else finding that lineouts are often registering in the feedback as perfect/perfect grounders? How is it a grounder if it never hits the ground? Plus, as many folks have pointed out, good/okay is showing up on a concerning amount of inputs that probably should have been perfect/perfect.

Even if they publish numbers, I'm not sure how accurate they'll be based on how inputs are currently registering.

Now that the game/and 1.04 have been out for over a week, I think SDS should publish the batting average data for perfect contact by type (ie groundball, line drive, fly ball). I have a feeling based on experience (and watching streams) that the averages on the non-fly all perfects aren’t very good at all.

There is no benefit for them to do that unless it somehow justifies their changes. Otherwise why would they volunteer to release data that players are simply going to use to attack them more than they are already.

I’ve played 3 games on legend now and I have seen 1 perfect perfect. It was by me and it was an out to the warning track by Shane Victorino. It’s so tough to get perfects on the higher difficulties

The game represents MLB and the players?!?!

There are Platoon Perks when we can't even platoon. Bunts only work when done in the most ignorant situations. Pepe Alawho? Also, You can do 8 circles under a fly ball.....

And who represents the abilities of me and my opponent? If I can't hit good should I still rake just because I have good cards?
