A bit bored of playing MLB TS 21?
I played a ton in April and May but I really find no enjoyment in playing the game right now.
Content has been good but the gameplay has really just taken a major downfall since release.
Anyone else feel this way about the game right now?

I enjoy the game. I've completed everything except ranked season and event programs. So, I will be taking a short break, but not because I'm bored with it.
-
Opposite for me. I’m enjoying the game itself, but the content lately has been pretty uninspiring as far as the actual cards go. I was super stoked with TA2 but everything since has been a miss for me.
-
I’ve been playing a lot of ranked seasons lately. Wouldn’t say I’m bored but I have been getting frustrated. Timing windows seem very inconsistent. I can be right on top of 99-101 and then randomly I don’t even have time to react without being very late. Sometimes 95-97 randomly blows by like it was a 102 mph pitch. Maybe I’m just getting old and not as good as I once was but HOF+ is tough this year. I was never one to rely on check swings much but man facing all these guys that throw heat and needing to sit fast it sucks when you get rung up every time you check swing a changeup/slider out of the zone bc you have to anticipate fastball.

I feel like RS isn't worth playing. You either have to deal with cheese or cheating in every game. This makes me lose interest in DD all together. This leads me to offline play and burns me out.
Played non-stop all april and may, now I might play 1 game a day at most. -
Also, the event has been a lot of fun for me. I’m going to get 20 wins and get Frazier today. I’m guessing his price will skyrocket when the next collection drops because Primes are hard to come by. 20 wins might not seem like a lot but it’s the only event I’ve really touched and it’s great practice for RS against the Meta lefties.

I switch my lineups completely after 3 or 4 days.. keep building players towards level 5. It's awesome watching players progress, and knowing that you also have God squad whenever you want.
For me it is like playing a new game all the time. So many cards to build on.
It is so much fun.CONQUEST FOREVER.

By saying content has been good are you talking about the Brian Roberts card they just released? Or how about the Cliff Floyd that will arguably be end game for everyone? Or how about the incredible tease of a possible James Paxton card? Maybe its the NEW LEGEND Grady Sizemore that everyone is just gushing over and have to have in their lineup? Sorry but content is lacking.. That's why you don't have the drive to grind like most people including myself. I'll save my energy for players/cards I'll enjoy for longer than a couple conquest games. All just my opinion though.. I'm not asking for all the top cards in a month but its already getting stale... I know there have been some decent cards released, I'm not that ignorant, but its been pretty lackluster.

Still enjoying it; I have a hard time playing RS/BR/events enough with all the TA, player programs and TN grind that they keep piling up just as I get over the hump lol. That said, last year I played 60 RS games top; the game was a dumpster fire, and abandonned it completely in August as opposed to October. Maybe I'm just not as worn out as others because of that.
In fact, in August I hit a gaming burnout; didn't start playing anything until late February this year. I feel like every game now is just an updated version of something that has been done; having lived the jump from NES, Genesis, PS to PS4, it seems nothing excites me anymore.

TS19 I had over 200 RS games played fromarch to August. Last year I don't think I had even 30. This year I have 60 RS games played and I didn't start RS for about 2 weeks after game launch when I completed the Ls collection.
I def won't hit the numbers I did in TS19 but you are right about what last year was. Despite the fact that I sweat on every pitch I throw on AS in RS the game is enjoyable. I don't feel bored per say because I'm only playing 1-2 RS games/night.

The Parallel system is awesome! I'm trying to challenge myself to a team full team of SuperFractors .....gotta keep going. I haven't played online yet so haven't even had any issues all year. No bunt cheese, no freeze offs ....... just flipping and grinding.
Can flip from 200k - 500k per day and when a Vida type card comes out I just Superfractor him in a couple of days. (#3)
So I'm playing the way I want to play .....going strong till New Years at least.

I’m only at 40ish in RS but that’s because there’s too much stuff to do. Have yet to really dig into events or BR for the same reason. I use TA teams in RS to boost PA missions and find it enjoyable even if I top out at high 600s
-
My biggest issue, and it is completely self-inflicted, is I haven't gotten to spend as much time as I want playing with my main squad. I dedicate so much time to division-specific lineups trying to grind out the TA programs that I feel like I barely get to use the cards I unlock. Need to just accept that I'll have to trade speed of completing content for time spent enjoying my main team in ranked, conquest, whatever else.

I’ve found a good balance with it. Just have to pick and choose how you really enjoy the game. For me, I hate moments and would much rather play conquest, RS or Events than do TN moments or player programs. Those never go away so if you really need the cards you can get them later. I don’t usually touch anything related to moments unless I have to and have yet to have a time where I wished I did.
-
I will say I’ve gotten a bit bored lately and cut back on my playing a lot. I’ve already finished the 3rd inning program and all of the affinity 2 stuff, so I don’t need to grind for those. And there haven’t really been any new things to play for other than the usual topps now releases, small conquest maps, and daily moments. Plus the market is super inflated right now from the endless stub sales so I don’t really want to buy any new high end cards to mess around with. So I’ve started playing some other games until the 4th inning drops.

Same here man, after grinding out TA2 to 100% and the ranked grind last season I didn’t pick up my controller for almost two weeks until today

Yeah for TA2 I kinda stopped doing this. I just run out the main squad then add in the TA players as they get unlocked. It’s a bit slower at first but there are usually only 1-2 players I really want anyways and this lets me keep having new lineups without it feeling too forced. The only exception is the NL Central. For whatever reason there are very, very few NL central hitters I enjoy playing with so I have to force them into the lineup. Although Joe Torre has helped.
