Player locked fielding

Playing as eckersley finishing up his first group of moments: had a pop up to the mound and he glitched hard. Started shuffling back to make the catch while looking up at the sky. I stopped moving but he kept backing up doing the same animation and the ball fell so the hitter got on... I put my controller down and watched as he continues the same animation all the way through the outfield.... I hate how bad this game is. Not a finished product when released.

This may be an issue that is more specific to pitchers catching pop ups, than it is to player lock fielding. I haven’t played too much player lock yet, so I’m not sure if this sort of thing would happen at other positions, but I have experienced multiple instances where my pitcher would refuse to catch a pop up whilst playing online.

I had the same exact issue with my second baseman on a pop up. The person I was playing was able to get an inside the park homer......smh
