I hit a shot to the pitcher, it bounced off his shoulder and the 1st baseman caught it for an out. Didn't touch the ground. Anyone see this happen yet?
Welcome to The Show, many such cases!

I had a pitch bounce off the pitchers head towards 3rd base. The third baseman caught it off the fly, stepped on their because I sent my runners, and then threw to second for a triple play.
I shut the game off after that.

The pitcher wall is significantly better than last year… but moments like that still sneak through.
-
Lol man. Triple play. He'll yeah.

A couple of years ago I lined one off the pitcher's head straight up in the air and they called infield fly. I've always wanted to ask an umpire if that was a legit call or not.

This is the show, where game play is the last thing they care about. But the card art is fire, amirite?

Well guys, I dont remember if the same player who made first (painful!) contact with the ball, is the one who needs to prevent it from touching the ground. I'm guessing we need to look on the baseball rules for that. If this were to be true, then yes, is bad that the game considers the ball in the air after hitting a fielder. Otherwise, its legal, so sorry but suck it up, buttercup!

This is physically impossible I agree, but the ruling of being a flyball after first fielder contact and catched by another fielder, don't know if that's legal in baseball.
-
Perfectly legal. Happens a few times every year. Usually it's off of a pitcher's foot or a pop up bobbled by one player and caught by another.

Wow didn't knew that! still its a very very odd occurrence haha, but good to know!
Well guys, ring them up! the decisions to be called out mentioned here where totally right!

There was a few years back where a pitcher got one off the head and it went over centerfield for a homerun. I cant remember what year of the game it was but it was some strange glitch that if it hit a certain spot the ball defied gravity. First time I saw it online was pretty funny

I’ve seen this once. I’ve also seen the ball hit the base twice, once at first and once at second. The one at second went back towards the mound on the ground and ended up being a single. The one at first went up in the air, the first baseman caught it and flipped to the pitcher covering the bag for the out by half a step.
