So is it safe to say if you don’t wanna play online, that there is absolutely no reason you should play DD??? Seems if you’re don’t want to play online you can’t complete programs! So I actually shouldn’t have purchased this years copy, and just continue playing 19? I purchased my copy as well as everyone else, but because I choose not to deal with servers dropping me, or glitches, or hackers who have a record of 200 wins with only 10 losses, that I won’t be able to obtain cards, or complete programs, or get to experience the full benefits of mlb the show 20??? Am I understanding this correctly??? Buying the game, playing the game isn’t enough to complete programs? I have to play online or just not play DD??? Because that is exactly how it appears!!! You’re not putting enough moments in the game to complete programs without me having to do certain things online against other users! Please explain......

I don’t know why you would play DD if you are not going to play online ranked seasons. Just play franchise or M2O, much more fun than being a card collector or getting cards that you won’t put to good use.

    What cards/programs can't you complete?

I've played a total of 5 online games, all in the current Event, and I've recently hit 320 Program Stars.

Will I get to 1000, probably not. But I got to to Boss.

I'm an offline player. I love collecting the cards and doing missions. I realize there arecards I won't get no problem. But I can't figure out why my CAP player has to play online to get silver gear a nameplate and a bat skin . Do online players even use CAP players

This.... : ) Yes, you can complete everything. Not as easy and probably not as much you can do (Red Diamonds are impossible and many missions are online only), but I already have the 1st inning Boss, and 3 of the TA Diamonds (mostly via collections and exchanges)......and just about to hit level 80.

You can field a great team without playing online.....

I'm at 375. I've done all missions possible. Have a great team but I'm doing affinity teams with my cap player at ss. So i finished
Everything but if I want to completely finish it I have to play online. Which I won't.

Does anyone know if CAP online missions are counting towards the offline as well. 150 hits and 100 innings

Online innings and hits count for both if needed. Just like TA innings count for both if played online.

See now I don't think that's fair that I have to play online to get those prizes. Ive done the 100 and 150 offline. Online players should have to do both or give me more to do for the rewards

You underestimate the appeal of card collecting to a lot of us. I find DD's manner of assembling and progressing my team to be far more interesting and entertaining than being a GM in Franchise.

Ok, I didn’t realize that was a thing. I used to be an offline player only a few years back and was never interested in the cards at all besides the sponsorships that you could use in franchise. After diving in to online now its really the only thing I want to do in this game, which after the patch is frustrating. I have been playing since the days of the round RBI players so I have had tons of fun offline. It is just not for me anymore though.
