This might be the worst Diamond Card I've ever used.
Checking Guidry's career stats (though I remember him), he had a handful of good years.For the Yankees, if you're going to give us a pretty good pitcher, hows about Dave Righetti? Or David Cone? David Wells?
Seriously though, 9 strikeouts and do not give a run for 1 measly point??

I bought this card and this moment made me regret it. I cleared it 2nd try so no real complaints but his control was awful. Yeah I know his pitch count was up but between him locating pitches randomly anywhere and the ump having a tight strikezone…sheesh.
And Don Sutton. Going to have him bat cleanup for my team. 2 doubles and my last K he was up next, I knew he would homer but the batter before swung at a high ball I threw as a low outside 4 seamer.
All these moments, you just gotta throw out reality, clear them/fight your way through them as fast as you can and move on with life.

You should try it sometime. I went through 3 controllers in 2020 along with my now caved in disc drive that no longer functions. I have since learned to walk away now that Digital copies have become my only option LMAO.

His CY year was amazing. Led the league in Wins (25), ERA (1.74), WHIP (0.946) and WAR (9.6). Only 12 Ks behind Nolan Ryan or he couldve had the pitching triple crown.

Sorry but this was easy, at one point i struck out 6 in a row. Took me 7.1 innings to get it done. Sliders down and in and fastballs up high. CPU can't help but swing on the 3rd strike at least for me.

This moment is so dumb. Terrible pitch mix and the cpu was laying off the curveball everytime for me. I beat it by using alot of fastballs high and away to the mostly right lineup. Use the 2 seam like a sinker.
But yeah, this moment was bad, I almost think we are being trolled sometimes lol. I got it done in 2 tries, you will too. Just sucks because it takes 20 minutes
Its not on rookie.

True. It is easy, but it isnt on Rookie.
No it's on Veteran, which is also dead easy. If it was on All star or legend then yes it may have been difficult.

Quite right my mistake it's a slider. My bad and it was 8th inning when i finished it. So yes thats a blunder on my part.
In my diffrence i was just pitching to get it done and not to worried about what he was throwing.

The Marichal one was horrid for me.
And an all star mission with your create a player pitcher against Yankees?
8 Xb with Lou Gehrig and 6 xb with Johnny Damon?
These daily’s should be easier than others. Can’t imagine what these missions will be like come September.

I was confused too. 7.1 is the 8th inning with one out.

Their outer PCI is massive because it is veteran. It is so annoying. Can't strike out Rendon. I alternate up and in FB and low and in/away sliders. Back to back same pitches I see them fouling the ball so many times.

I didn’t get it first try....but fastballs up and in and the odd slider now and then was what got me through it
