People freezing the game?

Is this a real thing. Has happened to me many times where I’m winning. And all of the sudden the game freezes. N I restart my game because of this and get a loss?

I've had like 20 losses in ranked seasons due to this.... I'm ahead, tied, or losing, I still get the loss...

Why I'm not playing RS or BR. Last 2 days 1 RS 1 BR gm my opponent froze gm. I was winning both.
BR gm was my 6-0 gm.
Total of 18 hours in the past 48 has been lost in freeze offs. Smh

Whomever turn there system off or restarts app first gets loss
