Earliest AAA and MLB call ups?
-
Yeah I've read people saying they played AAA for like 2 or 3 seasons before call up but I went to AAA after the AA All Star game then to MLB in like late August I think.
-
When I used my 99 it took till right after the AA All Star Break to get to AAA and early August for MLB.

@SGMRock_XBL - like you, i've gotten called up to AAA just a few games after the AA all-star and then to the MLB level in early August. I actually did win ROTY that year even with only 2 months of calendar left. Of course, I hit .340 and stole 48 bases to lead the league in that category (not enough PA's for anything else). Funny thing is I didn't realize I won ROTY until I went back the next year and looked at my player card and achievements. There was absolutely zero mention of it in-game. Yet another way SDS is continuing to kill any sense of immersion that there once was in RTTS.

In my first RTTS, I was called up to AAA after AA all star game. Spent the rest of the season in AAA on the first. Was invited to Training Camp in 2nd season. Pitched and hit well. Felt I should have made it but it sent me down to AAA and I played there for a month before getting called up. Now playing my second RTTS and I was just called up (yesterday) to AAA after the AA star game again.

My first RTTS player I got called up to AAA sometime after AA all star game and stayed AAA the rest of season. Then at start of season 2 was called up to MLB and won Rookie of the year as catcher only.
Since then it’s always the same because my player is too good starting out. I always end up in MLB around August 2nd of first season. Even starting at 99 like someone said above that seems to be scripted as the earliest time.

First file as a pitcher, got called up after 2 full seasons, double and triple A respectively.
2 1/2 for my catcher, did spring training in AA though, never again. Appeared in every game the whole way through.

Yeah spring training is long but good way to level your attributes to cap if they are not yet.

I fooled around in five different RTTS’s trying to build up some core stats (yes contrary to some blow hards on here you can’t max all your stats in one season even post update)... every time, literally, I got called up to AAA right after the AA all star game and called up to MLB in mid August. Each time. Then I started my real one once a few core stats got over forty and yep. Same exact thing

I got called up similarly shortly after then AA All-Star Game. Have been in AAA for probably about a month now and am hitting even better then I did in AA at around .370 with 4 HR & 17 RBI ( Contact/Speedster 2B ). Hoping to get called up soon since I have been having some monster games in the last 2 series. Had a 4-5 with 2 HR and a 3-4 with only a HR shy of the cycle. In the final month of the season now so I am thinking it wont be until the offseason.

Has anyone turned down the offer of going to AAA because team is championship bound? I’m currently a 72 OVR SP for Miami AA and right after was called up. Well there’s an option to stay to finish season what would you do?

Yes. They send you to AAA anyways.

Funny thing was I was half way though the first season in AA then just got called up to AAA.
Didn’t play it for ages but did play loads of DD so my ball player got to an 85 or so with equipment
Went back to RTTS to grind some more stats to 50 about 2 weeks ago and then after about 7 games I got called up to the majors.
Pretty sure you can do something similar and see how far you can push the early call up.
I.e draft but never play a game go into Dd get your player to as high as equipment will allow then go back to RTTS
(I only play in beginner because I like to pretend I’m that good)
