Plain and simple. SDS are a bunch of cowards to not face their player base. All issues are covered up by new packs and cool digital cards that people pay for year after year. And now this glitch video by Gutfoxx. Let's all be real people are going to keep cheating and cheating and cheating. Not saying everyone spends actual money, but glad I do not. Jackie and Chipper collection done. No money spent team every year, but after all these cheats and glitches online I will not be trying to play online anymore, which is a shame bc I really wanted to finally try a World Series run as I have yet to play online this year. Lots in years past.
It seems like they are trying to reduce the amount of stubs and XP, which thankfully you still can make lots, but now those free 99's are gone, ticket counter gone, no more extra XP for collections like in past years for this game, etc.
The margins are smaller and smaller every year on the marketplace. You can easily tell when SDS moves in to make a margin smaller because the amount of stubs made is too big. Example.. a gold bat grip was going for around 1,750 the other night with a sell now of 700.. then all of a sudden that sell now jumped up to 1525. Seen it happen as well with other player cards.
What happened to the live streams? Covid? Wring. Remote work from home? Wrong again. Its all pre-recorded now and when a new show drops every year its cherry picked and scripted answers with that stupid coach doll. Nice over exaggerated laugh Ramone. They simply do not wish to engage anymore with all of us.Cronus zen scripts, freeze offs, etc. Guarantee this is not addressed for one simple reason. Money. People won't wanna play online, thus not able to make stubs and wanna slide that credit card to make more money.
All in all this is just a poorly ran company with ZERO communication on their social media accounts. This company is a division of Sony for christs sake. Heaven forbid we get any clarity about patches or you know ACTUAL gameplay problems, but let's make sure a we flood twitter about some new legend headliner pack. Sad because I love baseball. The game is something I love to play and watch, but not worth it anymore. Maybe in a few years I'll revisit this game.

Its a shame. I love the community. Everyone for the most part helps people with lineups, challenges, future references for prices and when to get cards, but the gameplay online has gone to the dumpster covered by content.

It really is a shame... This game is the only reason I still have a console and is the only reason I would buy a ps5 for next year. SDS' lack of communication makes it very hard to want to support them, which sucks because they really do make a good game if they would just be open with the community and explain things instead of keeping things hidden.

The sad part is that the back end data has been there all this time and they claim they are always looking. The amount of games that froze after 3 IBB wasn’t missed unless they’re weren’t doing anything to try and fix it.
Custom leagues are about to start popping off.

I think we are going to have to wait until they phase out the PS4 and the older Xbox series before it smooths out ( I hope I can get 5 before that happens). I was expecting a lot of problems, but not like this.

A custom ranked seasons league would be dope! Get some of the bigger streamers to host or something. Have people do like stubs or certain cards that people could get instead of having to deal with all the glitchers out there.

Here’s the thing though… the servers fail more often in custom leagues than in DD. Sometimes a friend and I will plan to get a game going in custom leagues and it won’t work the entire evening.
