Knock on wood I haven’t ran into this problem in a ton of games. But I saw guyfox flying off the handle earlier and he’s usually a pretty even keel guy.

This [censored] blows... The fact SDS doesn't address the issue is an insane. A bug that causes the game to freeze cannot be that hard to fix, yet here we are again with these issues. SDS needs to figure their [censored] out and give all these people that do this permanent bans. Some guy did this exact thing to me on Sunday when I was one win away from WS luckily I got the win. I looked in his game history and almost every single game he had done the exact thing obviously just trying to cheat his way to 40 wins.

I'm not sure you will set the record. If i remember correctly some dude in 17 waited out a freeze off until his PS4 gave out on him

At the time of writing this I am in a ranked game against a guy who decided to freeze the game after intentionally walking three batters to load the bases. I can’t report this cheater because I am in a game and decided this would be the next best course of action. Mods please DM me so I can send you my proof and my opponents gamer tag.
Is that what it’s meant to do? I just finished an event’s game and the game was doing that but luckily didn’t freeze

I am currently up 7-1 in the bottom of the 5th and it's frozen. I couldn't care less about wins and losses as I have only played about 20 ranked games but if this guy thinks I am letting him get a free win when he is [censored] cheeks has another thing coming. I will leave this system on for days.

Bad part about freeze offs now is regardless of how long you're willing to wait, the servers will cut out eventually. When that happens, it's a coin toss who wins and who gets the L.

Lol... this literally would be the last "best course of action". Less than 0% chance anyone would even respond to you.
It's a videogame and only 1 game. It's annoying but cut your losses and move on. The day that I sit in a "freeze off" waiting for the other person to quit, I will tell my wife to divorce me and take the kids, my cars, the house and my dignity because I am a huge loser and deserve nothing in life.

How do you know he did it in all his other games??? What's the giveaway?
You can look at his game history and see that he did the exact thing to me as he did to all of his other opponents. Plus a lot of his games he's been losing he ends up getting a win for them and they all end within the first couple innings usually right when he falls behind.

How does what he did freeze the game? That makes no sense.

There is nothing SDS can do to fix the problem. It has to do with the engine itself. It happens when multiple animations are happening at once. Basically what happens is the animations or series of animations confuse the engine which cause the coding to enter into an infinite loop. If they were to fix it the gameplay would become robotic and movements in the game would be unnatural. The only fix is to change the engine and that won’t happen during the games lifecycle.
