Feel like SDS just made it this way to kind of cater to the best of the best competitive players, the problem is it's not fun for anyone else, and a vast majority of players, even a vast majority of 700+ players are just casual.

The difference between All Star and HOF is greater than that between Rookie and All Star. It feels like there should be a whole different level in between the two.

Legend at 900 is dumb because people climbing for WS will match up with some people who are already there, and then you have people trying to make WS whilst switching difficulty every other game, it doesn't make too much sense.

The difference between pitch speeds from All Star to Legend is actually crazy, same goes for pitch break. Legend is also not fun either for most players. PCI goes from the size of the moon on AS to the size of a pea on HOF.

Here's my solution: the current mode that is HOF, make those settings legend difficulty (or make legend closer to that) and then adjust our HOF settings so it's not as ridiculous. Also make it so people above 850 going for WS aren't switching difficulty every game, that's kinda silly imo.

And for whatever reason good pitchers seem to outweigh better hitters. Someone with 125 contact like Jackie, Chipper vs. L, Semien, Torre, still have obnoxiously small PCIs against some reliever with 110 H/9 110 K/9, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense if the batter is literally maxed out, this is already an issue, and I'm only imagining it'll get way worse once 125 H/9 pitchers release. Guys like Edward Cabrera are already hard to touch.

The reality is there is zero happy medium/balance.

Me, for example, am average to below average I guess. I made HOF but will not win nearly enough games to stay there so I will be in the constant yoyo of AS and HOF pitch speeds.

I'm a 290 hitter on AS. That seems, reading the posts here, to be garbage but.im at least competitive in most of my games.

The challenge for the many people like me are the buzzsaws we run into in AS who just smash everything. AS is not the gravy train most on these forums seem to think it is. I enjoy playing competitive games but it feels like AS is loaded with players that simply do not belong in AS yet, for some reason, are in AS.

I mean I hit like .340 on AS but .260 on HOF it’s day and night

There are a ton of issues with this game but I love the higher ranked opponent sits the level we play at. Last ranked season I played my first legend game and I got no hit. I was frustrated but I just couldn’t get anything to fall. But it showed me I need to practice more. So I don’t use custom practice, I play the cpu or extra innings on HOF at a minimum. Extra innings allows you to face the pitchers we all use and it’s way better the custom practice in my eyes.

I love HOF and legend, AS is too easy to hit for my taste. I do agree that 700 is too low for HOF, I would add another tier and make 800-999 the HOF divisions and 1000+ the legend division to better match up skill level to game difficulty. I also think it's too easy to pitch on HOF and legend. If it's going to be really difficult for people to hit on those difficulties, then it should be really difficult to throw strikes too.

Playing the CPU on legend does nothing for me. Game is so smooth offline. I can usually score between 15-20 runs against the cpu on legend. Maybe more if I really focused. I have 31 (12 innings) and 19 k games on legend online. Pitch speeds are faster and you throw in connections, forget about it.

Last week HOF with normal squad couldn't even react or recognize pitches. Yesterday on HOF made someone quit. Online is a [censored] shoot.
