I'll be taking another two weeks off from ranked. It's horrible.
This is NOT the same game that was released. Something happened under the hood and I don't care for it.
I'll grind out the inning vs CPU on HOF and Legend for more consistent gameplay and results that are more representative of the input I am making.
It's a shame.
Biggest issue continues to be contact swing. I mean, I struck out 15 and 12 batters respectively. Game one had me give up two bunt singles to Freddy Peralta, who also stole a base. Opponent hit two HR on feedback of 9 and 11. I had multiple outs and fouls with 15.
Second game, I won with using contact swing for the first time this evening leading off with Soriano in the 9th for a rocket double. Trout then P/P for a single to walk it off. I felt dirty.
They messed with sliders and haven't admitted it. It's a real shame.
I hear ya man. I'm not touching ranked until I can either win at least 8 BR games or 30 event games, which has become impossible with this event. I've won like 6 out of probably 50 games played this event.

Yea. Game has been playing like dog [censored] lately. I was messing around with all tops now and monthly trying to do the 15 HR mission. Also playing with some pitchers I normally wouldn't. My opponent had a bloop single, stolen base, infield ground out which moved him to 3rd and infield single. So that was his first run. This was HOF. Second run was weak grounder through the infield and Trout double completely out of the pci and almost out of the vision pci. Meanwhile, I am again (like it has been for a week now) dealing with warping pitching speeds and have to swing when it leaves the pitcher's hand to hit a fastball or sinker. If I do manage to square it up it is either foul or goes nowhere. Meadows, Crawford and Winker seem to all be hitting with pool noodles. Nice to see the east coast streamers still hitting slow pitch softball speeds though. Is there a top player in this game that doesn't live on the coast or out in Nowherenearcivilization, Montana? Again, you will never convince me that fiber in the midwest isn't inferior to trash east coast internet when playing this game. Fun actually being able to read and react for the short time it lasted. Back to the warped garbage online game it has been the last 4 years. Oh well.
Actually contemplating going back to play PUBG.
I don't care about the win, I was just trying to do missions. Trying to make a product playing like [censored] fun again.

It's across the entire game. Showdown and moments too. Not sure what game you are playing.
Negative exit velocity on good/good with zero pitcher confidence. Even popping up on good/good inside inner PCI in Showdown. It's A.S.S. right now.

Man [censored] showdown! I get so many BS lazy fly ball outs or line drive outs its INSANE! That mode drive me absolutely nuts! TA 2 Showdown is SO BAD

Thing is now i wait to see if the other person is abusing it before i do.
If i am the away team i just use X,X,O until my 2nd strike -
if i am the home team and i notice they're just using contact straight away then im forced too.
its nonsense, it feels like a cheat code.

But when people post this there will always be the SDS fanboys who say it’s something wrong at our end. Something is wrong with the game, and it seems like SDS doesn’t want to fix it or they don’t know how. I have more fun grinding against the computer then playing online.

i felt this heavy. I believe that i am a pretty good pitcher but this guy was abusing contact swing so much. every pitch wherever i threw it he would get some bs single it was every discouraging. but it is what it is i guess. we go again today!

Oh, I'll play again today. I need like 15 event wins and sitting on 7-0 BR run (like 65 points in BR program). If it continues playing like it is through these I may punt this game for a while and pick PUBG back up. Probably try to finish the BR later today.

Dude stop creating complaint threads. Maybe try helping somebody out with tips instead of throwing a negativity party for the community. If you have an issue submit a ticket or report bugs to SDS. Good luck on getting this resolved though, just be patient.

You obviously don't know me then. I've done nothing but be helpful to people for years here, and for the first time ever, looking for an answer to something that doesn't make sense. I'm interested in two threads. This is far from a negativity party.

There was definitely a change in the gameplay starting May 29th. I started this season 11-2 and at 850, i've done nothing but struggle in Ranked too. Even guys like Koogs and Shelfy have struggled. They 100% made changes that weren't needed.

I thought maybe I was just slumping this week or something. Offense has definitely felt weak for me and my opponents though. Hasn’t really been many bad beatings on either end lately. I guess we all have to git gud.

I don't understand this, every year, every update they do, they tweak the game to play differently from time to time. I thought everyone knew this by now?? Last weeks game play is not the same as this weeks, even vs. cpu. It's not consistent, ever. Its always been like this though.
I'll even go one further, I have the nads to admit this, I have never lost to the cpu, thee other night I lost a game 4-5 in the ninth inning and boy I felt it coming. It was like error, error, double, hr and I couldn't do anything last at bat, game over... -

I just played another RS game which ended with me losing 1-0 in extra innings - AT SHIPPETT lol. I messaged my opponent the usual GG & he wrote back asking me what’s going on with this game because we both hit numerous perfect/perfects and ALL of them died at the warning track - Did I mention we were playing at Shippet? I think I might just take a break for a week from the show & see if they right the ship because this right here is not entertaining nor fun.
