SDS, with your great game play, you could put out a player with maxed ability of 125 across the board and it would matter not. How about, just an idea, you cease putting out new content until you can get your game play correct. As in improve hitting, pitching..? You know, the reasons people actually buy your game.?I have never seen game play as bad as this steaming pile of [censored].

You going to cover their pay in the meantime?

Keep playing, you'll likely see an improvement in your skill levels and therefore your results.

It wouldnt take but a tad bit of effort to revert that patch and tweak pitching for it to balance. When a game plays better at launch, then current, there is a problem. This will be another year where it wont matter the card if they refuse to get game play right. They are fully capable of getting it right.

You are aware that the difference between a 450-foot home run and a 375-foot fly ball is less than a millimeter on some swings, yes?
Baseball is nearly unique in the sports world in that even perfect execution by a player in a given situation does not guarantee a perfect result, or even a positive result at all. Perfectly-placed pitches are scorched for home runs, horrible pitches result in lineouts, strikeouts, etc. It's all part of the poetry and artistry of the game, and it's a real shame that many gamers don't seem to understand that.
