What the hell

I just played the entire regular season on Dynamic difficulty and I got up to Legend by the the all star break I played it through and made the playoffs. I wanted to lower the difficulty to all-star just so I guarantee I win the WS and get my team affinity stars. So I clicked lower difficulty thinking you know it would give me an option on what I wanted to lower it to but nope! It took me all the way down to beginner and now I’m going to get like 2 stars for the playoffs. This is so stupid.

That is terrible. I was just wondering that since I wanted to drop it from HOF back down to All Star, knowing I wouldn't do well enough to average HOF anyways. SDS needs to fix that, it makes absolutely no sense to drop it to beginner..

It has actually been an issue since release. I read about it before which is why when I started MTO I selected a difficulty instead of using Dynamic

So normally I play Conquest games on Veteran against CPU/Conquest, but I should probably play on All-Star like an avg player. Anyways on Dynamic in MTO after a couple months or so it moved me up to HOF hitting but since it's on AS pitching it still averages as AS for rewards.. so I'm basically making it harder on myself for no reason, especially now that I'm a game/moment or two from the playoffs and will probably not make it past DS on HOF hitting. When if I had just selected AS initially I'd be golden going into playoffs. It's really dumb how SDS has Dynamic set up - how you can play better and get less rewards basically by making it too difficult for yourself in the playoffs. Otherwise I really enjoyed MTO lol as the Yankees anyways, they're stacked.
