How do you actually play in a ballgame?
-
Chose catcher. Drafted by the Tigers.
To start the 2021 season, I made it to the majors as backup catcher and played a lot in the first half. After the All-Star break, I only ever got pinch hit appearances.
It's now May 2022, I'm still in MLB, and I've had 5 at-bats in the 2022 season. This mode is absolutely broken. So unrealistic.
Anyone else running into this problem...?

The game is bad right now as a whole

Um...You're a bench player. In the AL. They don't get a lot of reps.

I'm a SS for the Braves spent 1st yr and all of April the following yr in the minors..Got called up and been starting ever since so far..

But I'm a backup catcher on a team carrying two catchers. I should get starts once in a while. It's been only pinch hit appearances and then I get subbed out right away.

I have the same problem with a SP. Got drafted by the Cardinals and in 1st season got promoted to MLB then was the the best ERA in the league. He was listed as an ace. Next season he is in bullpen.
Git good? lol. Sounds like he got real bad during the off season.

This happened to one of my Pitchers back in the 2023 season.
(i'm now in the 2026 season July just after the all star break)One of this was called up as a rookie. He helped up win the world series that yeah. got multiple awards, including Rookie of the Year.
Then was traded and sent down to AA, the following year, and been there ever since
Poor Charles Kieper you didn't deserve this fate.
