We all know the daily Moment is just a gimmick to get players to drop in to DD everyday. Most of the time it's pretty easy stuff you knock out first attempt.
Today, using my "created player" that has played maybe10 games a Double "A" there was a "struggle" with the Dodgers pitching staff. Even though I was swinging at the fast balls perfectly (I was laying on the fast ball), of course the PCI gave me the 'ol "very late" or would move my PCI just enough to support a swing and miss. More than once w/o me even moving the controller the animation would show me moving out of the way of a pitch in the middle of the plate. Just enough to justify that foul off or roll over.
So, I decided to experiment. About the 4th time through just getting irritated at the complete randomness of it so I just put the cursor down. I got hit by a pitch to get on base the 1st time. Thought the AI would finally just give me a walk, but they actually went full the next 2 AB's and then K.
Decided on the final at bat to swing once..which may be a trigger for the AI to determine you're really playing..have no idea. Sure enuf, I got the walk.
What a fun time that was!
Why not just give us a sign-on credit as opposed to us seeing the ugly side of your game everyday in these Dailies. Which most of it is somewhat oily, but this was just pure insanity and time wasted. But interesting.

I’m probably going to stop doing these unless I really want the reward. Britton is meh to me so I’ll just do the simple ones and leave it be.
None have been that difficult for me. Even the Gehrig 8TBs is was a 2 try moment for me. I just hate moments and don’t know why they keep pushing them on us, as well as pushing using a CAP

For me, since there is already 3rd innings collection bonuses for the two evolution cards, I do them so that I can get those cards and save myself some conquest grinding for those 30,000 points or so.

Conquests are an easy way to rack up stubs and free packs. Why would you not do the conquest

Yeah, soon as I get the Evolution card I'm done with it too. But, that same erratic gameplay that you see in Moments is in all modes. I don't believe they have a different game engine for every mode. Maybe sliders are adjusted differently. Who knows.
I just get so frustrated at the AI taking liberties with misrepresenting my PCI placement. That's in every mode. They gotta be able to come up with another coded "mechanism" (for a better word) to animate a missed pitch than generating false swing animation. Probably of all the zany animation, this is the worst for me personally.
And, this ain't my controller broke or imagination. It's been discussed to death on the forums. Here, Reddit, everywhere that pizzed off people can rant about their Show experiences.
Not a great start to the day's gaming, but I'm sure it will get better.

I do all the conquest maps. I just don't want to grind the big map over and over. At least this year there is the mystery map that you can do in a fraction of the time and get 3 packs for. You can probably run that map 8-10 times in the time it takes to do the full US map earning double or even triple the amount of packs.

Plus, maybe they would have to figure out a way in that mode to let us use custom stadiums. Offline players who rely on Conquests, Moments and Showdown are just out of luck when it comes to custom stadiums since they can't be used in any of those modes.

Me too, plus you get to face different players all the time because the teams are usually a bit better as you progress. One of the most boring parts about offline in this game is you don’t really face or play 80% of cards in the game, just live series players over and over. It would be a lot more fun to play vs the squad you built offline in squad battles than the Padres or Yankees for the 600th time in the last 4 years.

Yep. At this point it's only available in play vs CPU, and Extra Innings.

I like the squad battles idea. One of the few modes in FUT that was "typically" consistent.

He may not be meh this year they beefed the card up now has outlier and we know how nasty sinkers are this year

Exactly what is meaningful about playing the extra innings mode? As it currently stands, there is no 9 inning game mode for offline players that isnt strictly an exhibition. The only time a 9 inning offline game has meaning is when playing for a player program like "defeat the Padres on All Star or above". That's what I'm asking for.
