Why don't one of you two look up the dozens of shocked faced, annoying Cry-Baby YouTubers and check out one of their videos for past Showdowns and see what the difficulty is. Otherwise I'm going to start making some popcorn.

Like I said I'm not really interested in who's right or wrong. I'm very intrigued by the way he demands me to prove something and until I do he assumes I'm wrong. In the grown up world it works the opposite way, if you wanna contradict something you do that by first showing proof and then conclude the other party wrong. Shows me a little bit of character trait and intellectual capacity right there.

Gotta cater to the little Billy’s of the world

lol come on man a lot of players are younger kids. Who cares its a mindless grind and the reward is free diamonds so who cares.

I do, because it actually makes it harder like I just explained. Can't reach those pitches because the PCI can't reach the corners. Not to mention the speed differentials again, going from super slow to somewhat normal (showdown pitch speeds are not as slow as vs CPU) and then online will suck nuts after grinding showdowns.

I know you're not actually complaining about rookie being hard are you? I know you to go 12-0 multiple times every year. And the adjustment back to online speeds is nothing more than a quick conquest game or event game.

This is probably one of those fights where the juice isn't worth the squeeze. To each their own however.

No that was certainly not my message. It's obviously not hard at all but I do think Veteran was easier because of the reasons I explained.

At the office right now, but I remember because I found it odd how they did it, but since Maddux and Dibble are mini-bosses and objectively better pitchers than the 42 ones, it made sense in a way

I'm not sure anymore how it was in TA1, I finished that in launch week. But I'm fairly certain that all the TA2 showdown missions were on Veteran, including the bosses. But like I said, it's not really important at all.

I get your point but at the same time you never know who you are talking to on the other end. Could be someone with a disability or a child. Also, you know in showdowns if you don't get to a ball in the corner the next pitch will probably be a meatball down the middle of the plate. Those are meant to be beaten by everybody so just be patient. I know they are Mindless and can be time-consuming and Beyond frustrating because they are so easy sometimes you catch yourself swinging at pitches you normally shouldn't.

Yes, again, I wasn't complaining about the actual showdown difficulty. I was just surprised that they seemed to have nerfed it EVEN MORE because it was already ridiculously easy. And then go deeper into that, I said I actually prefer the Veteran parameters over Rookie because you can move the PCI in a larger motion within the strike zone to get those pitches. That was literally all and everything I tried to say, other people made it bigger than I initially intended it to be lol.

You know 90% of this forum is gibberish and I get your point but I think some of it is on rookie for the newbies and I understand that because it's an offline easy mode meant to get Affinity points.

The burden of proof is on the one making the claim. If you’re in court claiming I’m guilty of something it’s up to you to prove I did it. Innocent until proven guilty. If you’re claiming something it’s up to you to do the work and prove it yourself.

Correct. But I'm not in court and I also did not say that what I insinuated was indeed a fact, it's how I perceived it. The other person started with making claims about this FIRST and therefore the burden of proof is indeed with him. Care to be witty some more or do you wanna slowly read through everything first my dear friend?

If you and I see a crustacean, I call it “shrimp”; yet you say I’m wrong and that it’s “prawn” rather; then the burden of proof is on you. Yes, I brought crustaceans into the conversation.
