While I agree a 2000 Cy Young version is coming, it won't be a BR or WS reward.
They way they have been "releasing" him, he's going to be either a late inning boss (25% chance) or he will be a collections reward (75% chance). Since we just had a pitcher as the collections reward, the next will be a hitter (someone like Gehrig, Mantle or Ruth most likely....though releasing another Yankee as a collection reward might be too much) and then you'll have Pedro as the 3rd collection. They did mention in the live stream when they released TA2 that there were gonna be more collections this year.
