I think it does. He helped his team all month and put up a 1.132 OPS.
Tatis has played in half the games for his team and put up even better numbers for HR and SB, sure . But how does playing in half your team's games help your case?
Nobody else is close to Semien who played all month... So you'd give POTM to a guy who didn't help his team at all half the time?

You missed the point. Ya sure people want tatis..
But potm would go to a player who played every game at 1.132 OPS over a player who played half the games at 1.312 OPS. End of story. -
I feel like at this stage of PotM and Topps Now, the guys who are get cards are the ones who’s LS are in Gold/ Silver/ Bronze. A guy like Tatis or deGrom or Acuna would have to get a 98 or 99 to be worth it at this point, and there are still 4 months of the season plus postseason and finest cards they are going to have to wait for

Tatis will get one later im sure, you want him to get a 99 like his card last year. I would throw Adolis Garcias name in the hat for this release, he has been playing out of his mind all season but he did get a Topps now card already.

On the way? There's more than a 90% chance he is the POTM IRL for the AL, and was #1 in WAR for the month in MLB
