PCI Means Nothing

See, the thing about absolutes is that it's easy to disprove you with very little work.
I have a higher batting average on perfect/perfects than any other type of pci placement (or lack thereof).
That obviously means the PCI means something.

Timing is 100000x more important

For the last couple of weeks, I have been thinking, What if there was additional feedback on screen to show you where your PCI should have been for that particular pitch and the swing timing to have gotten rewarded with a Perfect Perfect?
I think the most frustrating part is that for every time I think I have PCI figured out (it is more about how the bat crossed the zone, rather than absolutely where your PCI is, Ill get the perfectly squared up feedback with just early/late timing and it is a pop up on the infield. I then think, "Where in the hell did my PCI need to be for that to be crushed then?" With the above feedback, I think we could all get a bit better at estimating where we need to be to have more success.
Just my 2cents.

Between 'Contact' swinging for homruns on balls outside of the PCI, to Perfect Power swings leading to ground balls in the upper 3rd with Joey Gatto, there's no reason to play this game. Input means nothing!
Don't tell me to "get good". Make a better game.
I think the motto is spelled "git gud" bud just for future reference of course

The PCI really is weird and chock full of RNG.
Just go into practice mode and have anyone center cut you a pitch and you can seriously center the PCI and just see all these random results happen. Foul ball, grounder, pop up, weak single oppo, homer pulled, deep fly, etc.
As long as your timing is good and the PCI is pretty much centered you can see how much the Hit/Swing is RNG'ed by who knows what formula.
It shows you how much a good timing centered PCI leads to a worthless hit. So when you are playing and you do good/good and get a hit you feel like you did something but really you just got the favorable dice roll.
The problem is their RNG result pool seems to be all over the place, I wish it was more focused so above the middle of the PCI is a liner to a fly and lower than the middle is liner to grounder (I feel like this is their intention but it isn't working right) but it seems like currently anything can happen where ever the PCI is located, The low ball in the pci homer??? the high ball in the pci grounder?
It just makes you feel like you have know idea what to do. They need to set the game up like they used to do on twitch streams where they can locate the pci and make the pitcher throw to that spot, in or out or up and down in the pci and then note the results and go back through the hit success and fail tables and fine tune them so you get more consistent results.

I think if someone posted about five or six feedback results and asked someone to predict the outcome of each nobody would get them all correct.

I agree 100%.

Players who are 250 and 0 always respond with the inevitable get better remark Proof of what you say lies in the fact that if you turn center and inner pci to none and outter to reverb your hitting will improve . If you are 250 and 0 Then you have no need change your procedure. Kwik Out

Who is 250-0? Turning off the visuals doesn't make you better unless its in your head with less clutter.

If you are only playing against the CPU and can do Rookie or use auto fielding etc ,No advice will suffice .Swing away as you please Go in extra inning mode and try some of those teams on Allstar and see if you can rack up 258 wins Its my favorite challenge . No cheese no lag .As a matter of fact yo cheese wont even work .You have to play Baseball

You're all retarded for even playing a broken game.
