Baserunning is atrocious / Frozen fielders

I've been playing this game religiously since the early 2000's and running has never been worse than before. I tried setting BR to Auto just so I didn't have to do it manually, but players still stop running inexplicably, run into outs and generally do not obey commands.
Also, on wild pitches and other loose balls in the infield, trying to take over the nearest fielder, or any fielder, to get the ball often does not work and the opposing team's runner will circle the bases. Extremely frustrating that this hasn't been caught and fixed yet. I've had to power off the PS4 / Force quit the app because no button works to gain control of a fielder to get the ball.
Really frustrating that this wasn't caught already and addressed.

You should record then post that glitch in the bug section, that needs fixing ASAP

I lost a game because of this same mess.

Frozen- I had Michael Young at short and a weak line drive was hit to him, he froze and it bounced off his head. Not kidding. It was pretty funny.

The defense is a mess this year even offline.
