Well say goodbye to marcell ozuna baseball carer...was just arrested for choking and beating his wife .

While I agree that it should be, BUT, we can all find a dozen+ examples of current players that faced the same situation in the past (including current CF of my Phillies).
They’ll do their “investigation,” give him the 80+ game suspension, and then he’ll be back at some point next year. Sadly, this is the environment that’s been established.

He was caught in the act...thats the difference. No denying he did it. Cops busted in his house and saw him choking her out

He should face jail time and should be fired. Like most people would be. I'm sure someone will pick him up next year and all will be forgotten. Crazy but true

Women can drive you to the craziest of crazy! Had a woman I lived with years ago who would just start screaming she literally would scratch herself and call the law. Luckily I was finally able to get away from her. Peaceful. Not taking sides here. I just don’t know the whole story. She could have had a gun to his head a couple minutes earlier. Doubtful but I’m trying to get across that we don’t know wtf was really going on. If he is just some jealous idiot. Idiot being that he potentially threw millions out the window, well then, I hope they throw the book at him. A man should never put their hands on a woman. Unless she has a gun to either one of your heads!

Well hes in fulton county so if the cops are white then he has a chance to get off. Hell the georgia senator is a wife beater. Think he has great chance of being ok

Why would he do that though? He has too much on the line and that's not cool.

Well I do think it is terrible how common things such as what Ozuna has allegedly done (and I think it is such a low thing to do), but we do not know the whole story and he deserves to be heard by a jury trial. It is something everyone who lives in the U.S. is guaranteed to in the Constitution.

Anthopoulos isn't one to even remotely condone that kind of [censored] in his org.... I can see the Braves eating that contract and releasing him. Then trying to recoup some of it through legal means.

They can void contracts for this kind of behavior. So yeah his career in Atlanta is over but they won’t eat that contract it’ll be voided and money spent elsewhere

Yeah he did it right in front of police. He’s definitely doing jail time. Hopefully Atlanta can get all or most of the 65 million they just paid him
