It seemed like he switched between an infielder and outfielder, and it auto-sent my runner from first. He did it 3 times, and the third time I was ready.
I’m a WS regular, and he played since like 2012. I’m not one to blame stuff on cheating, but this is a new one for me. I’ve played enough competitive gaming to know cheese when I smell it.
That's weird because I've seen it done numerous times and my runners never went on their own
I’m well aware that it’s weird. That’s literally the point here!!
But you are making it sound like it is something your opponent did. I'm saying I seen it done and my runners did not go on their own
It’s definitely something he did, because his outfielder and infielder spazzed a bit, and then my runners ran.
To stop it, I mashed R1, obviously. Not obviously...because like I said I've seen it done and my runners didn't go...so no it's not definitely
Dude, we’ve all seen people switch players. To be post-worthy and cheese-accusation-worthy, it would have to be something we HAVENT seen before.
Ok..so now I'm confused... didn't you say the switching of players is what caused it?
Yes.
Ok and I am telling you people have switched players and it did not happen to me...I don't think you accusing your opponent of wrong doing is correct
Jesus you are dense. I’m aware it doesn’t happen to you. It never happened before. He was doing something weird with the mechanic, causing my runners to run. AKA a cheese. The point of this point.
I'm dense because you are not making sense?....We have established the switching of players does not cause this to happen...yet you keep insisting that by him switching his switching of players is the "cheese" he used...how does this make any sense?
“This didn’t happen to me, therefore it doesn’t happen” is never a valid argument.
For real, bro. This is this dude’s philosophy. I’ve seen it on several threads and called him out. I tried to warn y’all haha.
Do you have a reading comprehension issue? I already explained what I meant....and where did you call me out?

That is not what I am saying...I am simply saying switch players will not cause it
It’s something he’s doing while he’s changing players. There’s no other way to explain it.
What positions did he switch...was it the same ones each time?
I think it was RF and 2B
All 3 times?
I think so
So if he switched to someone who had no chance of catching it. How did he catch it to double you up?
He switched back to the outfielder, but my runners had already been prompted to move.

User hits ball to outfield
Opponent has closes outfielder that is suppose to make play. Instead of using said outfielder, opponent switches selected player to another outfielder to make the play instead.
I can see this confusing the cpu assisted initial base runner. As they read it to be a hit.
No I can't see that at all...
I’m just trying to make sense of it. I’m not saying it’s a thing. Just let OP explain further. Also it’s not far fetched that maybe this is something that legitimately happened.
Seems a bit far fetched to me
And I don't think it's possible to make sense of it
Maybe the runners weren’t sent. But on a pop up your runners will automatically go half way or take some lead off the bag while waiting to see if the ball is caught. Maybe the switch delayed the recognition of this
respectfully, and i say respectfully, i still have no idea what you mean - i have weird base running issues sometimes in game, where the guy keeps running when i am wanting him to stop, i have no clue why this happens - but i don't claim GLITCH OR GUY CHEATING - i just shrug it off to the servers
Well if OP would shedded more light on this then maybe something could be explains or added. Idk. I’m just trying to make sense of it and thinking of a way how it could happened as initially explained. And maybe it was a server/ animation issue.
yeah man, i get a ton of server / animations of guys running past the bag - it really sucks sometimes, i just hope to make it up somewhere else in the game - thankfully its not all the time but wanting a double and then turning 2nd is like ahhhhhhhhh fckkkkkkkk
Are you advancing the runners by just holding L1 or are you targeting individual runners and pressing the corresponding base button? I do the latter method and I don’t believe I ever have that issue. I mostly play against the cpu though
i do a bit of both mate, but whenever i try that latter method with multiple guys on base, i have the guy for example holding at 3rd, whilst the one on 2nd is running towards 3rd - what a clusterfck you know? i blame myself or something with the game server / lag or who knows
