Much of difference between All Star and HOF batting

Is there much ? I recently have bumped up to HOF on online rated and don't really notice that much.
If there is a difference is it just the speed of the ball?
Also servers are a mess on Xbox online rated are a mess since update. Guessing it's volume issues.
Has this game ever had a region or ping lock?

Online rated? DD hof is harder than online rated legend. Online rated HOF is equivalent to Dd all star

So DD is harder than online rated . Didn't know that. Haven't play much DD prefer online rated with real teams. Although I'm getting tired of playing the dodgers , Yankees and padres.
Maybe I need to try ranked DD online season again .

Yeah the modes play differently and it’s because of the juiced attributes of pitchers most likely.
Online rated doesn’t suffer from contact meta though because contact hitters don’t have 50 + power like they do in DD.
