Quit playing dudes on Legend or hall of fame also. Move ur men to make one of your positions dominate, and takeover from there.

As you work your way across the map you need to put up walls and barriers, make sure you're never outnumbered by more than one on any adjacent territory. Once you take the west seaboard and start moving east it gets a lot easier.
It takes a bit longer but I've only had to defend territories once or twice since 2017.

Yeah, once you take a stronghold use reinforcements to fortify it before moving on with the map.

Beginning of the Nation surround you're stronghold go southern middle, do not fight for stronghold. Head middle east south east and to the north. One side down. Move ur dudes to the southern middle and start taking out the southwest and West coast.
I have done the Nation 3 times this year. This is the fastest way that I have ever beat the nation. -

That helped tremendously. I was playing how I saw a guy on YouTube play and I didn’t see him do that. Thanks.

Wait until "Extreme Conquest" - I still have nightmares from last year. "Take certain territory in certain amount of turns". End up only really having a choice to play on HoF or Legend many times. But, I got that MVP Yeli card eventually after many sleepless nights lol.

Ha you probably didn’t play the very first conquest extreme in 19. Last years was a piece of cake.
The very first one you had to complete the entire map in 20 turns or less which meant you had to play roughly 95% of every hexagon games

If you can't hit legend or HoF, play the cheesy BR way. Load up on speed (Buxton/Lofton/etc), bunt, steal, squeeze, get 1 run, then pitch your way to a win.

I believe 18 was the first Conquest Extreme. That was the "beat the Yankees by turn 2" one. Matt Kemp was the reward.

Ill take any extreme conquest they have done over that one map from this year. The diamond map. That was ridiculous how aggressive the CPU was.

I am on the Albert pujols map and am about to rip my hair out. I have taken at least 50 strongholds at this point but have never held all at the same time because every move I make the astros attack a stronghold and beat me on legend difficulty. I literally can not beat them on legend or HOF but there’s nothing I can do they attack 2-3 strongholds every turn and take them with complete ease. Now I’m stuck running around between 3 stronghold in the middle of the map and if I take one they capture the other 2. It’s just a never ending cycle. What am I doing wrong?
There are more than a couple videos on youtube on how to approach conquest. Done right you can finish on turn 28 or so, never have to defend a stronghold, never leave more than a single fan in the stronghold, and play every game on veteran or lower difficulty.
But if it is possible in your current run you need to take out all the surrounding territory first. Attack the reinforcements before you attack the stronghold again. I think it will get more difficult the more turns you go as the CPU teams gain fans every round.

lol it was 12 turns or less
My bad. Couldn’t remember the year or turns exactly. It was hell though. Burnt out from conquest for a while. So satisfying when it was completed though

That’s actually what i was doing but pitching was where I was struggling. Between altuve, gurriel, and Alvarez, at least one of them hit a HR every time they were AB. I didn’t think it was possible to hate the astros more than I already did lol
