Has anyone been able to add pitches when their two way player is primarily a position player and starting pitcher as their secondary position?

I know in the more recent updates they've added the option to add pitches through the bullpen sessions, but I've restarted since the update was installed to make a 3rd Base primary SP secondary, and after half a season in the majors I never got the option to add more pitches.

Is the game bugged, or am I unlucky, or is this working as intended?

I don't think you get options to add the 4th and 5th pitch once you get to the majors.
I think you have to do it in bullpen sessions in the minors.
Then later, it was probably once you get in the majors, you get options to change any of the 5 pitches a few times, again in bullpen training.

Create a 2nd RTTS making it pitcher only and sim it until you hit the bullpen training on that player. When you add a 4th and 5th there, it will carry over

Mine still makes me pitch and never play the position even though SP is my secondary. I just quit

No you don’t. When you add the 4th and 5th with the other one it will add it to your ballplayer and when you go back to your current RTTS save, they will be there.

It's probably not the same for everyone but I remember the only way I got a sinker was as an option to replace my CB

You can't. There is no option for a 2nd player. They took that out and incorporated your RTTS player in DD.

I have a sinker as my 5th pitch so it will show up as an option eventually.

You are misunderstanding what I said. You can have multiple RTTS saves but yes it will all be the same player. I currently have 4 different RTTS saves that I am using. An infielder, outfielder, starting pitcher, and closer.

Ahhh, gotcha. Didn't know that. I just went off what I read in an article and it did not mention that. Thanks!

I know I hated this year game but I have already grind out so much I don’t want to start over idk what they are doing with this game every time they make a update it’s laggy as hell and then I can only have 3 pitches it’s crazy I have seen guys on YouTube with like 4 or 5 pitches but not sure if they are two way or not

buddy i got 5 pitches in my CAP closer - he is absolutely disgusting - it just takes forever to grind him up the archetypes
