Back in the day I remember people doing this at least that's what I thought it was.
Ok here's what happened my last game up 2-0 my game froze oh wait it actually didn't. His pitcher is up 2 outs and I can't pitch I can pause the game do anything except pitch.
So I am not quitting i leave it for about 20mins and the message opponents wireless controller has disconnected. So yup he's still here waiting for me to leave but i think he's figured it's gonna be a long wait so out of nowhere I can pitch again. After the out he quits nothing fishy at all.

Forgot to mention that all this time he could bunt dance whilst i was frozen.

It is my understanding that you can press the "PS" button on your controller and come back into the game to fix this problem.

That didn't work not that i knew about doing that but i pressed it to try message him.
