Quick Pitching
-
What exactly is it and why is it an issue?
-
QUICK PITCHING or as I call it " BI*** PITCHING " is when a pitcher just fires pitch after pitch after pitch ... giving the batter no time to guess a pitch .. take a drink or even pick his nose .... slow down KIDS

I’m almost tempted to complain when my opponent takes their time honestly.

I prefer quick pitching too. Just fire it in let’s go.

Yeah really...sounds like a weak complaint

There is no such thing as quick pitching in baseball. When the batter has both feet in the box and the umpire does not have time out, the pitching speed is legal. When in the box the batter has to be ready........

There are balks in the game....

So since we are playing a video game, and we don't have control over when the batters feet are in the box, and the digital umpire isn't policing unrealistic tempo of a game....this isn't much of an argument.
You are correct, quick pitching is not a problem in "real" baseball, it's quite the opposite actually (which is why they're testing time clock in double-A). But here, in the video game world, quick pitching is a real thing. So if you want to compare real baseball to a video game, then lets compare it. But don't cherry pick. Throwing 7 pitches in 17 seconds isn't a thing in baseball, period......but calling time to slow down the pitcher is.

Pause the game then its so annoying people holding r2
-
Here's my take:
I dont care if you hold R2 for a couple seconds to start an at bag but don't hold it the entire time for every batter or be one of those people that keeps tapping it. -
yes these are good arguments , EXCEPT in this game I can only pause so many times ( I either run out of time , so no more substituting batters/pitchers ) so that's not a real option . I love the balk idea but that's not an option in online ranked games & in the past when challenging a player they generally balk so much MEANING THEY CAN'T QUICKPITCH " like they're used to .. THEY GENNERALLY QUIT
-
AND as far as SPEED IT UP OLD MAN , this is a gm right ???? I generally would like time to at least get a sip in once in a while
