It's probably just your godlike internet connection. Like, don't you know by now, crappy internet equals good results. At least that's what this D-E-F-R-A-U_D guy has said for the last several years on here.

You haven’t heard the news? All along was a crappy ISP router that was faulty, no SDS’s fault. He invested in a good router and that problem went away.

Lmfao well this guy's been around since 17 if he just dropped that joke in the thread

He dropped money on a router, other people dropped money on cards to route him. I guess he lost this one, batman.

It makes it a lot harder but it's definitely not pay to win. If you don't want to spend money (I didn't) you will need to grind or be super lucky. I don't really mind facing soriano, pappy and chipper, I can keep them off balance most of the time. Pitching is where I saw the biggest difference. I faced Glavine yesterday and couldn't buy a hit. My 90 diamonds that I was doing ok with could not do anything. I will have to keep up with the grind or my 90 overall team will be obsolete in a week or 2...
TA 2 will get you right back to a competitive team.

They get so many hits on bs. They get hits when inside the PCI almost every time. Seager gets a hit inside the PCI maybe 30%. Kind of getting tired of working my [censored] off in this game for no rewards.
Funny how SDS thinks I will buy stubs to compete. I don't function that way. I buy stubs if I get rewarded sometimes and need an extra push. The only time I put in extra money, I pulled Sale for 70k. Haven't pulled anyone close to that and haven't put any more money in since. All not getting rewarded is going to do is see me tank down to 400 to work on dailies and 40 wins for RS reward. Then I'll make the WS later.
40 events wins, 40 more events wins, 40 BR points, then 100 BR points, 40 RS wins will net you 9 good diamonds you can build a team with or sell for collections. All team affinities packs and stubs. 2 inning bosses plus the diamond packs. Then all the stubs from the programs. You should be ashamed of yourself to claim this is pay to win. Yes some people get luckier than others with packs but if you curb your pack addiction you should be well on your way to chipper. You should at least have the AL or NL done if all your stubs went into live series collections. Stop blaming the cards for your losses..
8 have chipper and feel i am pretty decent at the game. On that note, i have been shelled by an all 42 series squad on gall if fame..
skill still rule the day even with the flaws.. Flaws of the game go both ways and affect both players. Shame......shame.......shame......I dont understand the whole "pay to win" thing either. They literally give you stubs and/or packs for everything. The Team Affinity gives you 7500 stubs and 16 TA packs per division. Thats 45,000 stubs and 96 TA packs....plus the regular packs and the BIAH packs you get from them. Theres really no reason to pay anything and theres really no reason for people to be complaining about not having good enough cards to compete.
I have the cards to compete, you do not need the best cards in the game, you need cards that you are good with I am not done with collections, I am not a good hitter I swing to much out of the zone. I can pitch good. I do not spend any extra money no need to.
That was kinda my point. You dont HAVE to spend money when they give you multiple ways to field a competitive team. For some reason, people think anyone with Trout, Chipper, Soriano and Ortiz are unbeatable. Last i checked, those guys strikeout like everyone else.
They do at the lower level. Try playing guys in the 8-900's. The problem is you can only really get them out with top notch pitchers. If you are trying for collections, you can't get those kinds of rotations. I had to buy Hershiser and Hernandez to go with Burnes and try to get by with Martinez and Musgrove. I did probably only because the top notch players were in the 11-1200 range. They would have most likely tore up any of these but Martinez and Musgrove wouldn't have got through an inning. My 4 and 5 can't get by now. I was dotting with Sanchez and I don't think he got an out last game.
I heard a high WS player last night say he would like to switch out his lineup but he would get destroyed. He is exactly right. I am not mad at all. It is what it is. However, you can't expect people like me to sit there and be bp for people for 9 innings. I simply can't compete at the level I am currently at with the players I have at this moment. If someone else can, congrats!
I dont know, man....my rotation and my bullpen is pretty stacked and i havent spent really money on stubs to get anyone. I grind my [censored] off for stubs and packs, sell my dupes (pretty much every card i get) and i buy the players i need.
Of course im not a super-sweat that has to have the best of everything because im confident in my own ability to compete with what i have. If i win, yay me...if i lose, i'll come back and try again,

I play so many of these dudes and I have never made it to HOF difficulty before. They usually only have about 30 games played total as well. How do so many people have the absolute best team in the game a month in? Are collections easier than previous years? I know skill is a big factor in this game but it's just wild playing these teams every game and having to deal with an even bigger PCI size on all star and veteran.
I played a lot of BR to grind for stubs and diamonds, that explains why a “collection” team would be playing in lower tiers… I’m rated 450 right now

I fail to understand the point. You’re complaining about teams completing collections but you don’t want to grind and work the market a bit to get it done.
I mean that’s the point of UT. If you don’t want to find a way to upgrade your team, that’s on you. Stop complaining
I am not complaining. I don't care that I am losing to these guys. I am simply stating things I am seeing in this game.
- Collections are extremely hard to finish for nms players unless they fall into certain categories.
- It is very difficult to pitch to collection players when they belong to a good player.
Simple as that really. You guys are making this out to be a complaint. They are just observations in the game. Sometimes my observations are right and sometimes not. I did not realize before how big of an advantage these collection players were. Probably wasn't facing people as good.
I learned a lesson not to go for collections unless I pull some really good cards early. I have played more this year than since I started in 17 and am not close to collections. Again, this isn't a complaint but an observation for other players that may think about collections. This tells me in the future doing collections isn't for me. Had I not started LS collections this year, I would have Brett, probably Robinson, Valenzuela, maybe Fielder, Seaver and/or Burnett. My team would be better.

Man, your guys reading comprehension skills are sorely lacking. This isn't a problem, issue or complaint. Just an observation on collections.

Without getting lucky and pulling some high diamond players (Trout-Acuna-Degrom-Cole-Belly) it takes a lot of time to complete collections. Ive played a bit , and have had no luck (best pull was Trevor Story), 20 teams completed but lack Padres/Dodgers/and Trout mainly. For someone that works full time with a wife and am stubborn bc I dont wont to spend any $$. I agree with OP

I just want to vent in this thread. Every [censored] team I play has Chipper and a few have a maxed CAP with 98 speed even. It’s a joke.

Don't worry people don't know how to move on. You say one thing that disrupts and all of a sudden a person's credibility goes out the window. They can't focus on topic at hand especially if it makes sense, but they would rather bring up old topics and insults to gain upvotes. This community is turning into Madden trash talk gitch chasers it is so evident.
