Retire. along with whoever decide that all 1b players should never try to get the guy out if its a dribbler in the gap. man could have 3 years to get to first but nah he wants to stand 10ft of the bag and admire the seam work of the baseball as it rolls past him, while the right fielder playing shallow has all the time in the world to throw him out.

I wish I could retire too. 62 is age for retirement now. Kind of excessive if you ask me.

My favorite for the Lester moment was the second baseman, went for the ball and was within a foot of it but just gave up and stopped moving. Like thanks for trying at least?

Got it on the 4th try

I got the Lester no-hitter on the first try... but with only one strikeout. So I failed. Next two times they got hits in the 9th, so I gave up in disgust. 🙂

On the topic of moments pitching, doing the madbum ones there was a no hitter or something and last out was a pop up to 2nd, it drifted a little back towards the mound but still 100% the 2B’s ball, madbum auto turned around to watch the catch. SS and 1B both walked towards the landing spot, 2B held his glove up and then put it back down and the ball fell between madbum and the 2B.

I just started laughing at the utter stupidity.

At the same time the auto AI controlled defense when you are pitching is better than years past when they would drop routine fly [censored] and pop ups or dive for them unnecessarily and botch the out about 60% of the time.

This year more so yeah, and a lot less logical too. 8 IP with Phillies pitchers? Gtfoh with that, or 15 innings with Pirate[censored]ters.

Mike trout just did that to me in center during a ranked game. He just stopped running and stood there, locked in, and watched the ball drop in front of his feet instead of catching it.

It was probably his right calf strain finally coming through on Inside Edge. 👍

Yes of course it's easy but that's not the point. I can strike out the side against the CPU on rookie with my eyes closed, but this moment on "rookie" is nowhere near the same. They take [censored] and anything close to the zone gets smacked. Hard to strike smeone out if they constantly make contact.

Tbh I don't know how you gave up that much contact. They pretty much swing through most fastballs.

Moments are built off the old scenario generator from 15. Let's get some defensive catches added back in since they're mainly quick easy get a hit off one pitch on rookie.

Give me the Gary Mathews Jr HR robbery and the Jim Edmonds catch to try to mix it up instead of lining a since off the gigantic pci on 45 mph fastballs on extra slow difficulty

Pitching moments are always the easiest ones for me. I struck out all 6 hitters he faced.

Somehow got it first try.. that said... I can't stand pitching with Lester for some reason.
Something about his pitch selection. Just how it's mapped out to the buttons.. and his windup.

In my decades of watching baseball, ive never seen anyone get thrown out at 1B after a weak grounder to RF. That has zero to do with whoever designed the dailies...thats just something that never happens in baseball.
