Wrong Ballplayer in Daily moments

Why is my Ballplayer in Daily moments an undeveloped 65 overall CF for the Colorado Rockies when I, 1) never created a CF and 2) Have never played for the Rockies.
My ACTUAL Ballplayer is a 87 overall SS (99 Pitcher) for the Yankees.
Is SDS just making things up now? Am I supposed to get excited about a challenge that pits "My" Ballplayer against guys like Garrit Cole, Nolan Ryan and Max Scherzer? Just because he "looks like" the character I created?

I have the exact same issue I have my player as the first baseman ranked 81 overall but then if I put him into diamond dynasty he drops down to 56 and all the stats and everything from road to the show is gone it's frustrating because they said in the trailer you could use them but then again I'm using him and nothing he's played is even reflecting in the game

Everyone is on the Rockies; why? Don't know; it would make more sense if it was associated with the team you chose when installing the game. Not a big deal.

I cleared it too with the generic 65 ovr version of my player.
I am a 76 ovr 2nd baseman. But yeah now my player in this moment and on my DD team is a 65 overall CF, lots of 30 base stats.
Strange as well, my equipped bat was used in the moment but not in DD.
I wish they never connected this stuff. Did anyone ask for this?
